I guess this was a slightly bigger leap from a base 2LT '09 with no options other than 2-tone interior; The '09 had no HUD, NAV, seat heaters or memory seats, no options really to speak of and the new Z06 is a 2LT with a ton of options minus the Z07! Had an option to go with a very similar 3LT but liked the one I got much better- great balance with options I really wanted without paying for items I was not really interested in.

Thrilled but still can't actually believe it!

Looking forward to the ride to work in the morning but even more to the long route home!

Enjoy your Convertible. Just remember it needs its top down as much as possible.

SWMBO was already less than impressed with a top-down run this afternoon with temps in the low 60's!

Not my 1st rag-top and wouldn't have it any other way!

I don't mind traffic and M7. It's a light clutch and VERY easy to drive with all the low end torque. In fact I wouldn't even consider an auto in this car the M7 with rev match is just intoxicating! You get economy mode ONLY when you want it, not all the time, plus you get a bit better gas mileage (like people care about that in these cars).

As for trading up, this is my 3rd, a C5 vert with 388 all-bore 700hp, 2015 Z06 M7, now a 2017 Z06 with Z07 package M7. Each one was an upgrade ove the other by quite a bit. Don't regret any of it! You will be smiling ear to ear trust me.

You will have absolutely no regrets but my opinion is:Be sure to get the M-7!! Even with my left total knee replacement, I have no problems driving in traffic!!!

Great price on the new Z06, any regrets from the previous C6 owners?? Pretty sure how this conversation will go but asking anyway!

Yes, fishing for reasons against but giggling like a school girl at the prospect of a new 'Vette....

Other than writing the big check, not a single downside. Enjoy!

Sort of a 'crank, crank, brrrrAPPPP,...rumble, rumble, rumble.....' like it's wantin' to rock and roll. Wakes the neighborhood and fills the garage with sound waves quite nicely.
