I have a 17 z06 and have read somewhere that their is a tag on the motor with the name and date of the engine builder . I have looked everywhere and can't find it. Am I mistaken or does it exist

yes all 2017 engines are hand assembled by 1 builder at Bowling Green. Should be in front of the supercharger lid in between the throttle body housing. View from the top. It is stuck on so maybe it fell off somehow.

I've got a '16, but I imagine your '17 should be the same.

I believe the 2016s were only hand built in bowling green if they were a Z07. They then had name of engine builder on the front. Not sure on the 2017?

Thanks I just found it it's under to hoses that cross over that area

My '17 Z06 has the name plate in the exact same spot.

Here's the mother of all engine builder nametag threads...
They can be placed in various spots on the engine. I found mine located on the passenger side of the engine.
