Possibly have a pinhole leak in the radiator... will know more once I take it out to investigate might as well upgrade.
1. What's the forum consensus on the best aftermarket primary radiator?
2. Will GM honor my engine warranty with an aftermarket radiator in there? I know the whole Moss-Magnusson thing... but will they give me grief if I spin a bearing or something stupid?

I doubt it. Most of the time that type of thing is overlooked if the failure wasn't due to overheating.

Shouldn't be a concern with future warranty issues. DeWitt's is the route I took and seems to be a general consensus choice.

Is it truly direct fit, or do you have to trim the fan shroud or anything like with the C5? I had one in one of my C5s and it was a quality product.

Tool Hoarder,
I'm curious why you're considering aftermarket as a replacement? Are they less expensive than OEM. Asking as I've not heard of any of the aftermarket choices improving cooling capability?

Just bought the car and plan on doing a lot of trackdays. Sold my racecar a couple years ago and getting back into it but to a lesser degree... trackdays instead of racing. My car is a Z51, but I posted in here as more Z06 owners have done the radiator and the Z51 and Z06 use the same part.

The DeWitt's is definitely an improvement on the stock radiator, but still doesn't completely irradicate the issue under high temperatures and aggressive driving on the track.

Yes, some people on the forum continue to report issues when pushing the car to extreme racing conditions but they all say the our radiator recovered quicker and heated up slower. So I feel that is "proven to be better than OEM.

I am not calling you out or starting a fight but that just not true. So far we have made several hundred C7 radiators and our website page has five (5) customer reviews. All of them 5 Stars.

At my last event on my last 20 min session I crossed the stripe at 244 degrees and had my best lap of the day.
