Laurie gets her first Corvette! Delivery pics/old pics-Mike Furman@Criswell 11/26/17*
~2017 Corvette inventory is dwindling fast, not many 2018's to be had...and next week starts the 2019 allocations for January 29th production. I can't recall in my 40 years of selling Corvettes that this model year change over has occurred in this way...because it hasn't. The deals have never been better...and more importantly the Corvette has never been a better Sports Car. The 7th Generation is a dream to drive, each time I'm on a test drive it boggles my mind the differences from the previous decades of test drives. I've owned 18 Corvettes, every Generation except the 3rd Generation which is when I started selling Corvettes. If you are reading this post then there is a good chance you have driven a C7. If a new Corvette doesn't bring a smile to your face then nothing will.
~Spotlight on one delivery today.
*Laurie T. Of Prince Frederick, Maryland was referred to me by another Corvette customer (Pat M.) of mine so she called Wednesday to make an afternoon appt to drive a black 2017 Corvette Stingray. I had it all cleaned and ready to drive when she arrived with her husband Brett. Just one look Sold her immediately but we still took the obligatory test drive. Her very first Corvette is Black with two tone red interior, red seat belts, 7spd manual trans, 2LT Pkg, CF Badge Pkg, Magnetic ride control and Black Wheels. I am sure Thanksgiving was spent giving out test drives here, there and everywhere.
~Corvette customer Bob K. of Winchester couldn't pass up a deal on a new 2017 Camaro Convt.
~Sold a couple of 2018 Camaro ZL1 1LE's to two different Corvette customers in Long Island, NY. Neither knows each other but they both traded in 2012/13 ZL1's that they had bought from me and they live 15 minutes apart in NY. Over the last 7 years both of these Long Island customers have bought 15-20 vehicles from me...each.
~Other deliveries that left the yard this week.
~Arriving to work at 6:45am Saturday so I can set up all my deliveries etc.
~Some close up 2019 ZR1 pics...
~Look for my full report next week when I attend The LA Auto Show with my fellow Corvette friends and enthusiasts from all over North America.
~The Frank Class Corvette Barn find/Throwback section...post up which one(s) is your favorite.
(Below are pictures of my friend and old Boss Gary Konner. Gary took in trade the only 1971 ZR1 Convt produced. New owner took delivery of a Callaway C4. Gary owned the '71 ZR1 Convt from 1987-2015.) Check out some of the pics from inside and around Konner Chevrolet from back in the day...even with Zora Duntov...who was a good friend of the Konner family.
~Travel safe my friends. Hope you all had a great time visiting family this Thanksgiving.

Just fantastic pics, Mike! I love the final picture with David Cassidy. Gosh, I remember watching the Partridge Family as a child with my sister every week! RIP David.

Congrats to Laurie! I know exactly how she feels. I tried to fight getting a Corvette for too long. I owned 4 CTS-V's, 2 SRT8's and a ZL1. I wasted a lot of great years of driving when I could've just bought a Corvette. Best decision ever!

Looks like they replaced the "JAKE" hood decal on the ZR1 hood with a "Abdul and Ahmad"decal in that first image.

Great thread as usual but man, those Vettes covered in dust/dirt in the parking garages are hard to look at. Don't understand that and never will. Gotta go with the C2 at the top of the Corkscrew at Laguna as my favorite this week. Safe travels to LA, Mike. Post lots of pics, please!

years. They were an Urban Myth for decades as there were rumors of Corvette sightings stored away for decades.
The man in these pictures bought the collection. Pretty cool story.

Great thread as always Mike.
Such a strange time for MY availability.
I only have my 2016 for a YEAR and it's already 4MY old!
Can't wait to see what the ZR1 does on some the road courses we already have Z06 times for. Exciting times Camaro and Corvettes looking like full blown race cars yet can be street driven and with all the amenities afforded high-end luxury cars!
