Default The new 500 million $$ paint shop

I have only seen that one video of the Arctic White Z06 that came out of the new paint shop. ( I posted again below )

I am in the market for a new Black Z06 and want to see one that comes out of the new paint shop. Curious to see if there is a noticeable improvement. I am in S. Florida and the big Corvette dealers here do not have any yet. Has anyone seen any other cars that came out of the new paint shop? Will I be able to tell by the VIN if a 2018 was made in the new paint shop? (If I find one online, vs. the few that were made before the factory closed)

Here is that vid:

"setting up the new car build process for the 2018 Corvette and finishing construction of the nearly $500 million paint shop. Plant Manager Kai Spande said the total cost of reworking the plant comes to nearly $900 million.

The new paint shop will mean some changes at the plant, according to Langille.

“The paint shop is now complete and has been designed specifically to optimize the performance of carbon fiber and other materials that are used in the Corvette body panels,” said Langille. “As a result, customers can expect to see an improved paint appearance and finish. In addition, the paint shop is equipped with the latest advanced environmental controls to minimize our ecological footprint.”

Thanks, I am also curious. I wonder if paint correction will still be "necessary" prior to ceramic coating?? Would make the "waxers" like me happy to save a few bucks.
Currently thinking I will order Silver, but am curious what the two yet to be shown colors look like....

a regular person probably couldn't tell the difference in what they are looking at.

if you paint cars for a living, that would be different.

I doubt anything will help if they do not give adequate space for the seams & inserts to flex without rubbing while driving.
