McLaren 720S vs. some FAST ass Vettes

Melting Slicks
Bad drivers, texting drivers, drivers on phone, vehicles with faulty equipment, drunk drivers, stoned drivers, distracted drivers, tailgaters, frequent lane changers, etc... lets start a thread to damn them!!
Never met a Corvette Owner yet who stays under the speed limit 100% of the time and never had a spirited run.
Problem with some members is they have forgotten the antics of their younger years.
GREAT VIDS!!

While you are correct, statistically, that's because everybody and their neighbor has a phone. Nobody but idiots race on a crowded public highway. Sorry, but no bueno!

Took a 720S out this last weekend to race a bunch of my car buddies. Thing is fast straight out of the dealer!

When that c6 popped, lucky he didn’t crash and burn if the motor would have Locked the back wheels in the oil slick. — if the engine seized. Looks like fun. But definently stupid $hit to be doing on the roads with traffic.

It may be fun, but very dangerous. I still remember the fatality accident here in Round Rock when a young girl and her dad were killed walking to the store when 2 cars ( mustangs? I couldn't tell.... one was smashed against the fence and the other fled the scene ) Racing should only be for the track......or at the very least a very deserted road.

I did lots of street racing back in the 60's, but we didn't have the distractions or increased traffic that we see today. Shortly after returning from Vietnam I got pulled over for drag racing in my '69 Plymouth Roadrunner. The officer let me go, but I'll never forget what he said. "There's a time and place for everything, but this isn't the time or place. Now get out of here!"

Is the rule the same as in Sales Section which states do not comment negatively, OP did not ask for comments regarding the legality of his fun, or wanted anjyone's approval of his fun, he posted for comments about the performance of his car.
Some feel their contribution is solicited, when the fact is no one cares about your personal stance, as again not requested, but feel free to come on in and preach the righteous stuff if it makes your feel better.
I am very certain OP is familiar with the road / driving laws in his town.
Better not post any pics of the new gf until the divorce is finalized.
