Long term Akrapovic reviews?
Wondering if folks who have had the Akrapovic exhaust installed long term would care to give their thoughts on it. Now that you've got miles on it, do you like it as much as when you first installed it? Have you noticed any problems with long term wear/durability? What about drone? Is the butt dyno still telling you the same things it did when you first installed the exhaust? Any situations that can cause the exhaust to become annoying?
Really want to do this but given the cost I'd like to hear from folks who had had them the longest. Any info you are willing to give is appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

Mike,
I've had mine installed for about seven months--may not meet your definition of "long term". Absolutely recommend them! I use the "Stealth" exhaust setting when driving into and from my neighborhood. Otherwise "Sport" or "Track" (on an actual race track). The rev match feature plays a wonderful symphony.

I had Akrapovic exhaust on my 2013 Z06 and got so many compliments that I had to have it my 2016. I'm picking my car up on Monday and have a 5 hour trip ahead of me. Needless to say I can't wait until Monday rolls around.

Mine has been great as well without issue! Hearing it revving in high gears with American Racing headers, sounds like an F1 car... seriously!

I have only had one client with an issue and this is a great testament to Akrapovic and HRE's customer support. Juan had some hazing appear on two of his carbon tips. They didn't hesitate to get another set of tips in and send them out to him at no cost

It's good to hear the positive feedback. I have Akra's on my bike so I know they build nice products. All the clips I've seen and heard, the exhaust sounds amazing on these cars. Gotta buy the car first but I think I know what the first mod will be.
Thanks for the feedback.

We're installing a titanium system w/ carbon tips on a customer's Stage IV + F1X setup as we speak. We'll make sure to post a review afterward as this is our first Akrapovic system we have done on a C7 Z06. We have done several C6's in the past with this system and have had nothing but good reviews from it. They certainly give a sound different than anything on the market!

Would be nice to see some numbers here: weight reduction - how many lbs reduced by axle back and the full system over the stock system ==Power gains kept by installing exhaust alone and running a few hundred miles before re-dynoing...

Over a year, it still looks brand new, and the sound never gets old, I have the full length system that deletes 2 cats, rowing thru the gears is intoxicating, so much so I have a full system in the garage going on the ZR1, should sound even better, if that's possible

Performance figures for the axle back (Akrapovic Slip-On): +8.6 hp || +8.7 ft-lb || -11.7 lbs
Performance figures for full system (Akrapovic Evolution): +18.6 hp || +19 ft-lb || -25.5 lbs
As Akrapovic's largest dealer in the world we have both units in-stock and ready to ship. Give me a call - 786 249 0127 ext. 2109

Thanks, finally some factual information. Too much money to spend for just better sound - IMHO. At some point I will give you a call. Had the full system on my C6 Z but I know the prices have gone up a lot. The thing is, I love my new '19 M7 Z, but she is a fat lady and I eventually want to get about 200 lbs or so of what I call "functional weight" (combo of sprung and unsprung weight) off of the car.
I'll be here to help when you need me.

I believe this link is directly from Akra's website.

Be sure the order the Akra for the C7 ZO6 specially. Two separate systems, C7 Base and C7 ZO6.
