Default Deal is done! New Z06.

Just closed a deal on a brand new 2017 Z06.

Given the -15C temps and snow, dealer agreed to store in heated location until spring so it will be a while before we ride.

Some details:
3LZ
A8
Comp Seats w Red Stitching on interior
Z07 package

I was not specifically after a Z07 package, but I bought off the lot with a solid discount and 0%/60, so I happily obliged

Owning a Corvette has been on the list for a long time so I'm very excited. I'm coming from Mustang Boss 302 which I will sorely miss, but the Corvette is a whole different level and it was time to move on.

Also, thanks to the wise, witty, occasionally odd insights on this forum for which I have been lurking for the past year and helped make me a much more informed buyer.

A pic of the car taken months ago by the dealer and one I took in the showroom today is all I have for now, but they'll have to do!

Very Nice. Good luck with the car. I personally liked my A8 as Fl. is getting busy and much stop and go traffic. I'm sure you will enjoy!

Thanks. I specifically wanted an automatic in the Z06.
I love rowing gears and have been doing so for the past 30 years. The Boss 302 I just traded was a blast to drive and downshift burble was intoxicating, but traffic is horrible in Toronto and I found myself avoiding the car at times when I did not want to put up with stop and go. I had a different set of criteria for this car, and this one fit the bill.

Very nice. It’s a great time to be in the market for a Vette with discounts & 0/60 financing. Now bring on global warming so we can get them back on the road.

HA! Just caught that. I meant 0% financing on 60 month term.
Discount was just over $12k from sticker--which is not bad for Canada. Keep in mind we don't see similar pricing/discounts to our US neighbors.

Congrats! Hopefully it doesn't get all scratched or dented up sitting on the showroom floor over the next few months.

Welcome. I to am in Toronto and agree with the A8 choice. I love mine. Hope to see you out and about when the weather allows. Mine is in storage in my garage so I do make time to go admire it on occasion as it sleeps. Try to bring it out with the Ontario Corvette Club as we do many great cruise events and need more 2017 Z06s.
