^^^ Is that the LT1 SS lid?^^^
I did not know these were interchangeable but it looks better in my opinion.
The default 2300 lid for the C7's is as low or lower than the OEM 15-16 lids.

It is the LT1 magnuson lid, tuning is Thursday so we'll see how she does. If nothing else the lid looks cooler but i would expect having more volume there will help iat2's a bit (or whatever that temp is called in these engines). Had to trim the cowl just a bit in 2 spots but wasn't bad at all. Local shop offered to trade me lids, my flat lid plus my oem lt4 injectors which was fine with me
The tank is the LMR tank, it's massive. So big that i ended up having to install my catch can down in front of the front driver wheel well next to the horns. Im fine with that though, looks clean and should help keep the smell away from the A/C vent I loose the ability to see the "full" window on the can but I'll drain it frequently enough that won't matter. Came with an extension drain hose that i can pull down when needed

I bet they didnt want to change that part of the fuel system. Why create a new part number when you can share? Arent the injectors the same as the z06?

Did u guys buy new belt or could you use the factory belt ?
tia
I noticed instruction said Gates K080865HD ??
Also, i noticed the way both in and out of supercharger is a 90 degree split.... how can anyone guarantee equal flow into both IC bricks with that design...
almost make me consider two pumps and/or a Y split out of pump and two return points to the tank ?
anyone ?

Y at the pump is NOT a good idea, one side will flow faster than the other for sure.

youre right, a T is not better, but adding any lengths of hose before the Y or the T is bad.
My guess is there is a sort of "terminal velocity" where speed or flow through the brick creates more and more resistance, so they actually balance out at any given moment. The fluid always takes the path of least resistance, which would be the brick that had less flow through it a nanosecond prior

creating a crazy 8 for the 2 pumps like a zr1 has is easy... youd just need a zr1 HX that has the 2 paths, and I think you understand the rest.
Does that blower have it where a person can plum into each side separately, like the zr1 lt5 blower does?

Its a TVS2300
Its a TVS2300, and yes, both sides have in/out...... But driver side has in/out with a T, and then hose crosses over to the other side...
So in my book, it has the worst connection + 10-12 inch longer travel hose to passenger IC... Both IC bricks have same internal resistance.
So again.... If i use a Y connection and make both hose in/out same length.... It should be better ... in my theory bubble :-)
The way Magnusson has plumbed this i am afraid passenger side will have a restricted flow ??
Or am i overthinking it ????

why was i thinking it also had a cooling brick in the top middle? I thought it had 3 bricks inside, no? If so, then how do the 2 inlets work? which side takes care of the 3rd brick?
JHEBERT, is this the same blower you have or did they do a refresh along the way?

Rune, a crazy 8 system has a much better cooling ability all around, which is why they did so on the zr1, so lets plan for that, I can help you design how to do it if you need help. I can get you the pump part numbers that you will need, etc...
but im fishing for info how the 3rd brick works, if it has one, which i thought it did.
Figure out what those fittings are back there once you take off the stock cross over lines that go from drivers side to passenger side.
May as well start hunting for a zr1 blower HX for the front of the car.
The other thing is, you can hook it up "as is" but just know that you need to be on the look-out for a 2019 zr1 dual pass HX, or something similar, for a future upgrade

I have aBosch unit pump that has better flow than ZR1 pump
i have more IC heat exchangers
I was just worried of the solution Magnuson has chosen ....
It is IN / OUT on both siden through a 5/8 pipe.....
Problem was the right side is straight into and out of intercooler, and left side is a 90 degree T and then extra hose 12 inches...
a Y connection has less restriction and equal restriction to both sides.... and if hose is same length it seems to me to be way better that the delivered solution....
Not a fluid specialist but common sense..

in the crazy 8 system, you must have equal cooling to each of the 2 loops. You must have a HX that is split evenly in half into 2 paths, otherwise one bank will always be receiving less cooling than the other. And the bosch pump, you will need 2 of them. and they will also self destruct, because they dont have the cavitation shut down to clear the bubbles from the blade impellers like the zr1 pumps do.
