I am late to this thread but welcome to the Corvette family. In 2005 14 Americans shipped our cars to Europe and enjoyed driving there for 2 weeks. My avitar picture is my car then in Paris. We ran the Old Course at the Ring and ended up at Le Mans within the Parade de Pilotes and with a lap just prior to the race. The trip of a lifetime. We had a wonderful time and appreciated all the European Corvette owners we met along the way. Enjoy your beautiful Z!!!

Hello Bill,
Thank you for your welcome. It was an enormous adventure to cross the ocean to ride in Europe, Champs-Elysées and Le Mans. I think the old classic ring you talked about was Linas - Monthléry. It's always an emotion to do some laps on Le Mans before the race. I was in Le Mans in 2005. The club was European Corvette Club I think. And did you ride on the free autobahnen ?

Yes as we drove up the Champs-Elyseses, we stopped in a bus stop because so many people wanted to take pictures of the corvettes. Then an officer made us move because we were creating too much congestion. And we rode on the autobahnen up through the Black Forest. I have a picture my wife took of the speedometer in the ‘05 at 172 MPH. Ha ha. Such fun and we met many of the European Corvette club members. A large group went to dinner after the race. If you ever come to the US please look us up. Bill

Sunday mars 11, a small ride, 100 km with some beautiful cars, 15 cars exactly and a lunch in a ranch restaurant "la grange de Bory" in a natural park", Vallée de Chevreuse. I recorded by the PDR, but I didn't see what about...soon

Sun was present, a lot flooded roads but amusing roads, forced to clean the car, Vador, on the way back before entering in its hiding place.

OK I'll do that for you ! tomorrow, promis.

Holy crap! What is all that white stuff on the ground??? (sorry, couldn't resist....San Diego has spoiled me.)

It's frozen water: ideal for a cocktail with rum

Merci !
