Trade in offer of $55k for my 2016 Z06 3LZ!

Unfortunately this is the harsh reality.. I went into carmax here in South Florida and just went for curiosity sake (love my car btw not getting rid of it) and for my 2016 black/black Z07 3LZ A8 with 13k miles was offered 60K I got a good laugh but I get it their in it to make a profit.

I feel this depreciation is just the reality of the market. I just picked up a 15 3LZ Z06/Z07 with 16k miles for 63 last month. Clean car with new tires and xpel. I just can’t let myself pay msrp on a car that will lose so much value so fast. Wait a year buy it cheaper and enjoy the heck out of it instead of stressing over depreciation.

There was a video on YouTube of a guy who was curious of what CarMax would pay him for his one month old, 1000 mile '18 Mustang GT Premium Coupe that had an MSRP of $51,465 (showed window sticker). CarMax offered $28,000 (showed Carmax offer). Needless to say he was in shock on that offer!

That's about right with that mileage. I have a10k mile 16 that is cold as ice on the lot for mid 60s and a badass 16 w 1k miles for low 70s. I had to give away a 17 z07 twilight vert for 72 that stickered for 115. All cpo cars

You are correct, I am not complaining I got 20k plus off my 17', takes a lot of hurt out of resale, these are toys that are expensive to play with, but then I was at my Porsche dealer and saw a guy trade a one year old 911 turbo s in and take a 75k loss, I know because I just bought the car. The more you spend the more you lose, bad for the buyer, good for the seller.

Seriously? I'm looking at one to be my next toy. So you are saying a well equipped 911 turbo S can be had for 120k?
