Default A new bull in the coral

After several years I decided to part with my beloved 07 Lemans Blue Z and upgrade to a C7Z. I'm the proud new owner of a 2016 Shark Grey 2LZ M7 with only 1300 miles. The difference between the two cars is incredible. The power, build quality, technology, and interior is far superior to the C6Z. So looks like I'll be lurking in this section from now on. I'll add some pics tomorrow

Here r a few pics, I know, I know, it's a worthless post without em. LOL. I only got to put about 75 miles on it on the drive home. The weather here in NY was warm this week but of course the day I decide to take delivery we have an icy morning and there was a little road salt and sand in a few spots. Washed it clean as factory new yesterday and parked it in the garage. Soon as the warm weather gets here I'm gonna let the bull loose. Looking forward to the C7Z section here in the CF.

Awesome choice - you've experienced the same thing the rest of us have when coming from a C6. Huge difference between the two cars! Even though the cabin is a little smaller overall, the car is much more comfortable for longer drives & road trips! Not to mention all the torque with the LT-4 motor of the Z06.

I'd thought about keeping my C6 but it's not nearly as fun to drive as my C7Z.

Enjoy your new ride!

Default Congratulations & picking the 'Shark Grey'

For Your Consideration: I started with the factory 'Shark Grey' top below which looks just fine.

Then I decided to try the 'transparent' top and never looked back, 'just up' at the blue sky/clouds, moon, even traffic lights if you roll up to close. For me the transparent top lightens up the interior and at the same time gives it a more modern look to boot.

I have the glass top option too. I love the way it breaks up the color of the roofline a bit. Gonna add the carbon flash rockers also. Ur car looks great.

Congrats! I came from an '06 LMB Z as well. The updates to the 7th generation are pretty incredible.
