these guys have a point, might take the c6 over there too, would be fun... Unless you have a bunch of other gear you are loading in the same container

I’M ready, we only have 1 container that just fits one car,. BUT if you want to get your car over there then I am game

A C6 would be a blast over there. Really hard and awesome track for sure,. We would need a 40’ container to fit 2 cars

How much will the Aventador SVJ cost? Sure, lots of cars have gone fast with unlimited money, but to me, that's not nearly as impressive as "everyman's cars" which have gone really fast.

The exotics aren't perfect and they present a great opportunity for our tuners.

...our goal is a sub 7 minute lap. Anything more will just be gravy. It is good to see the Pirelli Trefeo R tires perform this well. We are very happy to be on Pirelli.

At the moment we are having a sort of political battle trying to get some time to be on track without other cars interfering. They want $30,000 for 1 hour private. Which I won’t even consider,.

Stay tuned. We will do our best.

Seems like a track that big could hold several cars at a time without getting in each others way. Maybe you could divide the $30k by 6!

I've been on that track when they hold "open" days.
200 vehicles/bikes of all makes/models, all on the track at one time.
You are forced to enter and leave the track for each lap.
But I've seen all makes... how about a Bentley, with dad and mom in the front, and 2 kids jumping around in the back (no seat belts),
and, of course, no helmets on anyone.
During that same session I was passed by many cars (I was in a Toyota 86 rental, and this was my first time there).
But Porsches, Audis, BMWs, and many bikes.
I was passed by a Radical, as if I was stopped.... and I was doing 185 kph.

Yeah Lou, without any other cars interfering would be a great move.

Testing went well. We did a 1:15.7 with the car at MSR. We made some serious improvements after the test.
But that is what testing is for. We mad a bump steer kit for the C7 that we will offer soon. Everything on this car is available for your C7
We Race You Win is our motto and this effort has forced us to to creat a car that works as a full package.
We are 300mpounds lighter than the new ZR1 plus we have about 100 HP more. We have better aero downforce as well and I believe less drag demonstrated by our 1/2 mile speed was slighty faster with our wing on compared to the ZR1 with their wing off
The biggest problem we are having is getting the car shipped in time to make it there for our August 27-28 Test days. It will be close.
The original plan was to have October 8th as a day with only a few cars on track. I am not sure that will happen since the German organizer said they did not have that scheduled.
So we are trying to work a deal to get 30 minutes after each September track day to get a couple of laps in.
The Nurburgring organization is very stringent and “follow orders” without question so getting the time we need will be very hard and very lucky.
We are bringing plenty of spares just in case I wack the wall or something. (What?). Yep it could happen.
Stay tuned.

Thanks.

What an awesome effort.

I hope the stars align for you and you get what you need to show your car in the best light possible. Realistically, that may not happen but with a little good fortune...

If the chance to set a close to the limit fast laps never materializes at the Nordschliefe then I hope you will consider trying VIR or Road Atlanta so you can compare to the ZR1 at those tracks.

I also hope the Pirelli Trefeo Tires that they used were off the shelf versions and not "Gummy" versions like Porsche used with the "R" version.

Can't wait!

Paper work and more paperwork, Bonds and more. Just getting the car in the container and on the ship is a night mare.

I think we are finished with the paperwork and guarantees that we will bring the car back.

But I think we are finished with all that

Stay tuned

delays at customs will ruin your goals in a heartbeat. And they will delay you weeks at a time if things aren't 100% high and tight on all the paperwork

Which port is it leaving from?
