This is so fast, it almost seems like its a video game.

Sorry Lou, but I don't think you'll get close to this... but anyway... just show them that a Corvette
can do better than all those "other" cars.
Pretty impressive for a 4 cylinder! Lol

An amazing achievement. Wonder what it would do up pikes peak?

Love it! What is the price on that? I am sure $10k+ lol. I would rather have the looks though, as I do not have any real tracking plans for mine.

Good catch. The larger the firepath, the better.

StopTech sent us what they had in stock. It’s my rookie year at LG but not my first game, sent ideal pad specs to Andie yesterday lol

Stoptech make good stuff but it’s not AP Racing quality. The quintessential iron rotor replacement kit has been on the market for a while
now and owners swear by it. Why reinvent the wheel?

While I understand where you are coming from, how many of those owners have won world challenge races with both StopTech and AP Racing brakes? People also swear by PFADT sway bars before they put ours on. I don’t think it’s reinventing, its more of utilizing 40 years of racing experience in vehicle set up. (Not trying to be aggressive just honest answer)

Boys boys boys, No worries, I have full confidence in our StopTech brakes. We have had great racing success with them and it is Stoptech that I turned to when I needed great brake for Nurburgring. We have also been loyal Cobalt brake pad advocates. The first time I ran on Cobalt pads, after my first session in another team car, I got out and just had to find out what the brake pads were. Cobalt was the answer and I have used them ever since. Racing Corvettes to Aston Martin -the brakes that I used and won with have been Cobalt. Just my preferences

The StopTech brakes are a deep annulus Rotor to deal with more heat. We knew that and have Cobalt pads coming.

No worries, I forgive Dane for being a Salesman rather than a Chassis and brake engineer. .

Soon I will give you an update on the Simulator that I got to prepare for this run. So far the track detail is phenomenal. I am not a “Gamer” so that part I am working on,.
Lap after lap I know what comes next and from my time on track It is like I am there again.

Car leaves in 2 weeks for Germany.

Guys, Loading up in 2 weeks to ship the car to Germany. Testing this week to balance the aero since we have not run this combination on a C7 before. Also working on stabilizing the chassis to run this low at the ring.

We are working hard to achieve this goal. Looking forward to having video documentation of the entire time in Germany.
Thanks again to all the supporters.

I like to say that this sort of thing and all the racing that we have done over the years is what sets LG Motorsports apart from all the rest.

We race, YOU WIN.

More updates as we move forward.

Thanks

Just my 0.2
I used a set of Dropped spindles, the best ones :-)
Lowered car, and Fuchsrörhe doing 265 kph (162 mph) my car bottomed out, the hole underbody scraped and i almost har a code brown.
But it was not until i got home i realised my luck. :-0
lower A arm was grinned off 1/2 inch by the edge of the wheel.....
Thank god i didn't use my Dymag wheels....

i bottomed out the other day and heard a horrible noise... if i dont have the drop spindles is this possible that my wheels hit where yours did? My gut is, no, not possible. I believe the only place i could see that the car hit was at the rear exhaust hanger in the middle of the car. Other than that everything was clean, no scrapes. It sounded like i busted my oil pan when it happened. Thankfully, that was not the case.

Lower A arm damage
We always grind the rear A arm on the C5. C6 cars. Especially with wider wheels.

It is not an issue with the forged A arm, just machine off another 1/4” in the same area. It will be fine.

THese are the C5-C6 A arms ground down for larger wheels on a lowered car. Also, what size are your wheels? 18.19, or 20?

This is on a C7 arm that needs to be welded for the lowered and smaller-wider wheels.
