This was asked during the seminar. Their answer was that on perfect smooth surface the All-seasons would be slightly louder because of the "rougher" pattern of the treads. However any imperfection in the road (like ruts, repairs,...) would be dampened better by the new compound, making that part quieter....

So overall I guess it would be pretty equal to the Super Sports...

Better for me as an old F, I am mostly deaf in one hear and can't hear very good with the other one either, however, I do have a boney old butt, and a smoother ride trumps noise!

My availability is still showing 9/2/2018 for the front tires and 9/8/2018 for the rear. According to Adam from Michelin at the 2018 NCM Bash, this was still accurate. I’ll wait for an official press release from Michelin or to get word from Luke at the Tire Rack before I start chasing rabbits.

A tire that will deal with cold(er) temperatures better than the OEM tires on the Z06. For those that like to drive their cars all year long.

I take it you're a weekend warrior with a garage queen. This is for anyone that lives in a state with more than one season and wants to drive their car below 40 degrees. Show me a mom driving a Camry running 285 front and 335 rear...

I'm wondering if these might make a better wet track option. The issue with the super sports is that they have a hard time getting heat in them on a wet track.

It's been pushed back YET AGAIN! About to cancel and look at other options, even if that means going with a smaller setup. Very frustrating.... (pushed back to 9/22 on fronts and 10/06 on rears and have zero faith in those dates)

I just told them to cancel my order. Done with this tire...

Just ordered a set of Pilot Alpin PA4's. Thye're in stock, have a decent rebate, OEM size and I'll have them mounted on a spare set of rims by Monday. More of a hard core winter tire vs. all-season but the reviews on tirerack were good. Super Sports in the summer and PA4's when it gets colder. Done deal!

I can live with this because I'll be gone from the end of September until the middle of October Last year I parked the Z06 in September because the Michelins had cord showing through. I purchased a set of Continentals after Michelin delayed the AS3's in April but the Continentals are also a summer only tire so when it starts cooling down here in October I'll need to park it again if the AS3"s are delayed again

Default 285/30R19 & 335/25R20 Pilot Sport AS3+ ZP tire availability

We have just received word that these tires have been delayed in production, and the expected launch date is now September 1. We verified this at the highest levels of Michelin. Initially, their thought was a delay to a July 1 launch, but they are telling us the new launch date is September 1. While, it is very unusual for Michelin to delay tires after committing to a launch date it has, unfortunately, happened to the Z06/Z07/GS community.
Luke,

As we are within less than a week from September 1st, the last release date reported by Michelin, can you confirm that the Z07 fitment sizes will indeed be available following the Labor Day weekend?

Please PM me with pricing.

Also, please PM me with pricing and availability on the Alpin PA4s for Z07 fitment.

Thanks!

Montana Bob

Alpin PA4s are mounted and balanced and looking good! These tires are beefy, direct OEM size and there is a $70 or $80 rebate depending on which rebate you go with. Best of all, they're in my garage ready to throw on the car whenever the time comes.
