Need help removing rear bumper 2016 C7 Z06 Help!
Am changing tail light assemblies, have all screws removed top inside trunk, bottom, sides inside muffler clamps, each ends torx screws....no screws are holding my rear bumper assembly in place.
However it refuses to budge! There are two orange plastic clips on each side seem to be holding the bumper to the rear quarter panels nicely in place. Other owners tell me to leave them in place. Do I have to remove the inside trunk rear plastic housing to get to other clamps or screws from inside my cargo place to be able to free up my rear bumper assembly?
I did not remove or loosen the inside trunk trim panel where the arrows are pointing........are there bolts inside the back side that will release the rear bumper? After removing all screws, it will NOT budge one bit! This is the only thing I have not tried as another forum member said he did not have to remove his...but he has Z51, I have Z06....could that be the problem?
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
NW

Help
i saw a vid where they took the taillight bezels off, put tape under bezel and pried the bezel out to get a grip, then pulled hard to get the bezel off, there were screws on the left and right side holding the bumper on. Hope this helps.

Burning Brakes
There are also screws under the rear reflector strips that need to be removed. There is a “sticky” that has the directions.

It will feel like you are going to break it, but I have taken off a few now and it won't break.

This is NOT for C7 2016 Z06...Help!
Removing the brake light assemblies is different from this video..which is for 2015 C7, NOT Z06 C7 2016...that is the one I need to know about..how to get them out after all the screws have been removed?
Thanks,
