I guess I need to trust PTM more.

Now watch, I will wind-up ping-ponging off the armco in the lower esses at VIR w/NASA this weekend...

I just started looking at the data from this session and found a surprise. Apparently I set a 1:15.07 on lap 21 (starts around the 25 min mark) which beat my best from earlier in the week by nearly 1/2 second.

Second gear out of T1 is definitely faster too and is good for a little over a tenth. Fastest rolling lap is a 1:14.98 and fastest theoretical is a 1:14.83. Next stop is to officially break this baby in the 1:14's.

I also beat my previous best trying to stay ahead of him in a previous session - 1:15.3.

BTW, this is 32 mins and I went out with a full tank and came back with less than 1/8th.

Compliment, you drove very well.
Your C7 Z06 as it drives, it seems to do a very good job.

Wonderful video, is fun to watch

Jesus man, that's moving. I actually was at a party with that guy the weekend before. I don't know how well you know him, but he's top notch in the driver department. That's quite an achievement that you could run with him. What a blast!

I'll be there in 2 weeks, but I'm not sure how much I'll be driving the C7. The 981 S will probably see more miles until the points are coming fast enough that the C7 is fun. It's a really full group and will be many folks first event for the year so cold brains and tires.

I did have some similar fun at VIR last weekend with a really nice guy with a 458 speciale.

Also, if you get a chance you know where you can send that file

Yes, he's not the Chief Instructor for no reason I'm uploading the file now.

Fun to watch those guys getting around so well. Sean is a top notch driver in his own right!!

Summit is fast now. This is the largest improvement I have seen so far from a repave there.

wow a lot of fun to watch, I am a total beginner at track racing, going to watch your other vids bet I can learn a lot.

I guess the husband was with wife and casually having fun driving around with wife, then got pissed when you passed the wife lol.

Can I ask what mods you got.

DSC Sport controller with track alignment, AP Racing Radi-cal brake kit with Ferodo DS 1 pads, Pirelli DH slick scrubs on 18" Forgeline GA1R wheels (from CW4L). 305/660-18F and 315-680-18 rear on the tires and those suckers were pretty darn worn out.

Fake video, Z didn't overheat.

All kidding aside, really nice run and thanks for sharing. It's amazing what these cars can do in the right hands. Keep at it.
