Call Cultrag Performance 484-334-8833 and ask if the sticker you need is included here or can be purchased seperately.

If it were me I would ask for a certified letter from the selling dealer stating the fact that the hood has been replaced and provide documentation that vehicle is legal along with a proper label and take that to the DMV for getting your registration and to prevent any previous fail issues in the computer.

My thoughts exactly, how do you transfer a sticker onto a different body part. They don't just pull off and stick it back to a new part. The VIN should be the key as to what was sold from factory.
As big as CA DMV is why cant they source the VIN from the Mfg. and see the 50 state as well as CA compliance as built.
Stay tuned for the results......

It's damn silly right. My local GM dealer has ordered one for me for $35.00. I'm just happy that DMV got it wrong and the vehicle can be registered in this state, just takes a bunch hoops is all...

I know that the weather there is beautiful, but man you have got to get out of there. A 2017 car that can't be registered because of a missing sticker? Good God

Funny thing is after I left DMV that's all I thought I needed to do is get to 7500 miles. Although that meant 3700 miles to log in 2 weeks.
After getting home and reading the denial letter more closely it states that this car can never be sold, transferred or registered in CA EVER. No matter the miles.
Since I operated it in the state PRIOR to 7500 miles your car is DEAD to CA. Red flagged in the database.
I am not making this shi* yp.....

I completely agree. My smog guy passed the car without it. A reasonable thing for a DMV employee to have done would be hand me the brochure that states the rules, have me read it and than ask if I really wanted to process the paper work at this time.
