Default Which Afe intake filter to use?

Just ordered a Afe intake and confused which filter to use? Grey or blue?
stock tune, till i get squeezed in for a HPT e85 tune

I've been using the low restriction one for quite a while now on my 2016 Z06 A8. Great results and no CEL or other problems.

You know I started out running the blue with no CEL, however it was slower than the gray at the track.

MAF sensors, there are cases where the oil from the oiled filter versions that gets onto the sensor. So it'll be safer to use the grey/dry version.

Grey is the way to go, the maf’s these days are too sensitive, and pick up the slightest fault.

been using the blue filter w/o a tune for over a month now. No CEL and is running great.
