Thanks for posting on the forum Mike. I have a 2019 and my DSC Module arrives tomorrow. For the moment, I'll be in touch to send it back for a refund until all the issues are ironed out.

Also, as a NoVA resident, let me know if there’s anything I can do in the way of local testing.

Ash you will be getting a new unit call me or email next week when we're back from sema

That way I can avoid installing, uninstalling, shipping, installing uninstalling controllers. You can respond through a PM. It would even be a customer friendly gesture to discount the final payment.
Not sure about you but to be honest, even though there are issues with my 2019, DSC Sport has been very good to work with me over email and phone. They've been prompt in their replies and will issue a full refund once they receive the controller. I would recommend working with them directly via phone or email instead of publicly on this thread.

Folks - don't normally respond in defense of TPC Racing / DSC Sport - they are one and the same as far as being SINGLE DEEP in being owned and operated by Michael Levitas. He developed the controller, etc. to support his Porsche racing business, as well as his own race team. His passion spilled over into Corvettes because he also owns several Corvettes. He has also expanded into other car lines, and has talks with many of the manufacturers on a daily basis. So, to say he is busy is beyond belief! As was mentioned he is currently at SEMA and nothing is really being done in getting firmware updates updated, etc. The firmware differences with the 2019 are pretty significant, and the need to have a car to read the CAN BUS has been an ongoing problem. They now have several cars they are working with as was indicated. Thanks for allowing me to provide you an update from an "outsider" who frequently stops by the shop to see what they are currently up to. Rick

I'm kind of jonesing for one for my 2019. Hoping they get it sorted before my next track day in March. This seems like a lot of bang for the buck. Hopefully once the controller works reliably for 2019 C7's they'll make a big announcement (I know, niche market so how big is big?) so I can get one on order.

They got the issue fixed yesterday and it was validated on @Foosh car as a second test. I'll see Mike later today as will ask when the update will be on the web site.

I saw Mike today and the new firmware should be up on their site Monday or Tuesday. However, the 18+ cars and firmware will only work with the v4 controller boxes so if you have an 18+ and have a prior version of the controller hardware you should contact them.

This is the thread I am looking for I have a 19 Z06/Z07 and want to order a unit. Has anyone bought and installed one on a 19 that can verify that all modes work? Thanks and Thank you Mike for developing this!

The unit does work for 19 MY. I spoke with Mike a couple days ago to confirm and will be adding one to my 19 for testing and feedback purposes as well. I used one on my 16 and I wasn't disappointed. If you are interested I can get you setup with one, just send me a PM.

Good to hear. I had a v3 on my 2018 and it had both the ptm issue, and an unreliable connector. Have they also improved the connection integrity in the new design?

I can surely find out. I can imagine the issues you were having were due to the firmware, especially on 2018-2019 MY.

The ptm issues yes. The connector problems, not so sure...

Someone posted on another thread that aftermarket tools/components often use much slower hardware, and since the ECU/PCM is expecting the other devices to respond in a short expected time window, we often end up running into those intermittent issues during runtime. I've heard that V4 hardware is new; perhaps it is better at keeping up with the PCM, so it doesn't error out intermittently?

I had the V3 DSC that didn't work on my 19 and sent it back for an update. Unit was returned promptly and I installed today. I didn't have any connection problems before, just that the PTM didn't work, and had no issues this time. Anxious to get some miles on the car, but so far all is good. The car is back to the noticeable ride difference from the factory controller. All PTM features are there.

I have spoke in depth with Tom Chan at DSC today and verified some concerns folks were having.

- The v4 controller does work (including PTM) with all years to include 18/19 MY stingray, grandsport, z06 and zr-1 with mag ride
- The controller connector was revised to eliminate connectivity issues some experienced on the v3
- The controller is loaded with the most recent firmware with enhancement to launch control

Thanks for the order, Ash!

Anyone looking to place an order, please let me know. Would love to earn your business!
