Default Carbon Fiber Stage 3 winglets

Has anyone found any carbon fiber stage 3 winglets that match the OEM carbon? I just received a set from RPI design and they look good but have a much lighter tint than the OEM splitter. Anyone have any suggestions?

Personally I would return them Because those are going to get beat to hell if you drive your car. The factory plastic style ones can be bought on eBay for $110. I already broke one on a cone at the track and another scraped on a tight canyon turn when I was showing a 911 what’s up!

Are you talking about Canards that attach at end of splitter and inside wheel well? Also, clarify if you are wanting OEM Visible Carbon Fiber weave and tint or OEM Carbon Flash, which is black metallic? I did see OEM VCF, Stage 3 Canards offered on TKO Performance’s website (pictured below) but I think their manufacturer is no longer producing them because tooling was “problematic.” Stage 3 Canards in OEM VCF weave and tint are the last pieces I need to have everything match. IF you do find them, wrapping in PPF will help lessen damage from wind-blown grit. I believe there is now an extended version of the ProTEKT skid plate that covers Z06, Stage 2 or 3 Canards. You will have to be uber diligent to not bust them on something from outer sides. They do stick out! Good luck!

yes I'm talking about the stage 3 canards in visible carbon fiber. I never understood why it didn't come that way from the factory when you pay for the visible package. I just received a set from RPI designs but they don't match at all so I will have to return them. Your pictures are too small. Any way you can pm them to me so I can get a better look because i can't stand how it looks with the mismatched carbon fiber and carbon flash. Thanks for you reply

Look at Nowicki Autosport website. Jeff Nowicki is the one who is manufacturing OEM weave and tint matching VCF. He is now marketing his own products, as well as, selling them through BlackOps and TKO Performance. There may be others now but those are the two I have dealt with until Jeff started selling on his website. His quality is unmatched. Parts are expertly finished. Tell him I sent you!

Doesn’t ACS make them in Carbon Fiber?

I believe they do. The issue for me was pieces needed to match OEM VCF weave and most importantly, TINT. Initially, pieces I purchased were VCF but tint was black/gray and also did not match weave. I have not seen ACS pieces in person. I can only vouch for my experiences purchasing correctly-matching pieces from those I previously mentioned. When I picked up my Z from NCM, I was puzzled why Heat Extractor did not match VCF Hood Insert? Likewise, Stage 3 Canards were Carbon Flash and did not match VCF Splitter and Side Skirts. My OCD tendencies would not allow me to accept mis-matched elements.

I totally get it. My stage 3 lip is VCF and the winglets are carbon flash. I can live with it for now. Eventually, I’d change the winglets to VCF but then I’d have to also change the wheel arch things from the factory abs plastic to VCF as well.

It’s a process, or a sickness lol.

I think Trufiber or Ivan Tampi also make a lot of VCF pieces. G3 Carbon too, forgive me if I botched the name on the last one.

This was the primary reason I went with Carbon Flash for all my Stage 3, Z07 aero. I was afraid my OCD would take over. As a result , all I added was the Carbon Flash painted front wheel spats, splash guards, and ACS rear diffusers.

Good luck with your search as I agree the OEM matching tint and weave is key.

Probably is an illness but I’ve already fallen down that rabbit hole. I have swapped out all plastic or carbon flash pieces with matching OEM VCF. Now, all three exterior intakes, heat extractor, wheel spats, fender gills, spoiler, wickers, wickerbill and rear diffuser match my hood insert, side skirts, and removable top! Nowicki offers the same in engine and coil covers for LT4, and additional pieces for LT1. Saving my grocery money for those!

This week, I have received LED side markers from JWM Motorsport (Jhonathan), and CF Shifter Console in matte finish from American Hydrocarbon (Joe). Other than engine compartment pieces, the only other thing I would love to have are these Brixton wheels, painted to match my Adrenaline Red interior! My Z is WGG. I love Matchbox and Hot Wheels!

I was on their site. Unless I missed it, I only saw carbon flash.

2017 Z06/Z07 full stage 3 aero w/ exposed carbon fiber . My side canards are carbon flash and I always wondered why GM didn't match the front splitter and side skirts with proper Carbon fiber. I got the car used, and thought the original owner made a swap for whatever reason, but later, after looking at other Z07 stage 3 cars, noticed they all had the same combo Carbon fiber splitter and Carbon flash side canards.

Its a trap!!! lol I bought those ebay ones thinking I was smart only to find that in the Florida Heat they began melting and bending inwards. It looked very stupid. I upgraded to a real ground effects car since then and it has the factory winglets and they are much better I am guessing due to a better grade of plastic. Also they wernt painted on the inside the way they should have been. I am guessing some Chinese factory just emulated them really poorly. Anyways if you live in a warm environment and dont want them to melt just buy OEM.

I am also looking for these in carbon fiber to match OE. APR makes them in carbon, not sure how they look against the OE carbon. Does anyone have actual pictures of these installed on their z?

No problem. On the website they make one that fits the apr front splitter and one that fits the oem splitter.

yea they do that a little bit. GM ones are like $275-300 though and I don’t want to mess those up either so mine are in the box and I run the eBay ones. Most people would never notice the slight bending inward. No worries. I try to only run stage 3 on the track it holds back straight line performance.

That's why I ordered mine with Carbon Flash, I'd seen a few that didn't match, VCF in the middle Carbon Flash winglets. I just wanted the matched look with the Carbon Flash, Spectra Gray wheels and Jake Hood Stinger with my Blade Silver. Mine's also a ZO7 Stage 3, and when the car came in the Dealer asked which ends I wanted installed on the car, the winglets, side skirts, brake duct kit and Wickerbill are all shipped separately and installed by the dealer.

RPI sells or uses APR carbon fiber. not knocking APR carbon fiber because the quality is really good but just doesnt match the OEM and to my it was unacceptable.
