Lined up next to a ZR1, Pics...
Got out to see my friend Eric @westcoastexoticcars yesterday!
He's got a ZR1 there, here's a few pics...
Thanks to Chris at 0to60 Exotics for the great pics!!
I've added another shot that has the front winglets and the rear wing on, happens to be next to another KILLER car LOL...

The ZR1 performance is fantastic and I'd love to have that extra 105hp, but not when it comes packaged in the Fast & Furious kit car look of the ZR1. The snow plow front splitter, that gaping wide front bumper, the 80s Ferrari wheels and that obnoxious rear wing totally ruin the beautiful design of the C7. I'd much rather take a Z06 and send it to Callaway for the 757hp package than buy a ZR1 that looks utterly ridiculous, but I'm sure they will sell every one they make(with some at a premium) so to each their own.
The design isn't meant to impress the cars & coffee crowd or geriatrics shuffling past some doofus sitting in a chair parked next to his car at a local show & shine event blathering on about all his chrome underhood upgrades and how many coats of Zaino he has on.
It's meant to perform on the roadcourse, and thus far, it has accomplished its mission 100%.

I know that most folks love it, but to my eye the new ZR1 is getting to look more and more like Pontiac Trans Ams of old--lots of bulges, scoops and plastic add on parts. I do love the look of my Z06, so I am guilty as anyone for enjoying it,but the ZR1 seems to carry it a bit further. Still, I do think the ZR1 looks pretty mean, as it is supposed to. Just an observation. Please no death threats! --Bob

Finally got a chance to see the ZR1 in person today at MacMulkin. As much as most pics make it look too "extreme" in some regards? Standing in front of it, it looks great.
My wife thought it would be better in red than the orange that was in the showroom - I can see some expenses in my future.
Nice pics, OP. Thanks.

Definitely see a ZR1 in my future. The Callaway is fast, 10.50@130mph, but not 10.12. Can't wait to see a Lightning Lap time for the ZR1. I going to predict it takes out the Porsche 918 and the Ford GT.

jbsblownc5 - very nice pics of both cars. I wish you had the canards on as the ZTK on the ZR1 looks menacing, i think the canards give the same effect to the Z06. I leave my canards on because once you see the car with them on? When they're not on it's like going out without pants on lol.
naked without them.

I think they both look good, but that ZR1 nose is awesome.

I still had my wiglets and spoiler off from last weekend's Mojave Magnum mile, forgot to put them back on before I left for the gathering...
