Default Roll racing a Z06 A8 vs M7?

Has anyone seen or heard of a roll race of a Z06 A8 vs M7?
I am curious what the outcome is from a 50mph roll?

The A8 always wins under any possible variables or circumstances.

The A8 does win the 60ft with the serious gearing advantage it has in low.
My M7 with 673rwhp still loses to my A8 with 582rwhp on 1/4 mile runs
esp on stock rubber. But on the roll it is not close the m7 is pulling all the way. Same way most A8 Z06's will be faster 1/4 miles then M7 ZR1's But the M7 will smoke it on rolls!
They already are so far. But as far drivers the A8 falt sucks to have and call it a sports car. My M7 is way more fun and the A8 feels more like a touring car than a sports car.

I have had both m7 and A8. I currently have an A8 making 980whp. The more you modify the cars the more of an advantage the A8 is. The A8 when tuned correctly shifts so fast and there is no comparison to the m7. It is way way faster. I roll race all the time and had my car at slip stream and the A8 is so much faster when making high HP.

Actually, if you have a competent driver the A8 still wins

Actually if you have a competent driver who knows how to use the no lift shift feature the M7 wins.

There was a video posted from the middle east a couple years ago. Several runs to very high speeds. The manual actually pulled back at very high speeds. Stock cars with equal aero.

A 60 to 120 run would be a one gear run in an M7 and 60 to 130 would be a two gear run requiring a late shift into 4th. You are only talking about one shift at the most with the M7. As with most roll races it would mostly depend on who hit the throttle first. If one of the drivers is doing the signalling that driver will always have a few milliseconds advantage over the other driver.

A roll race is at a disadvantage to the auto since it loses flash torque multiplication at speed. Autos makes a ton of torque off the line when engine rpm > trans rpm and you get hydraulic multiplication.

You don't get that in a roll race, so it's really set up ideally for the M7.

No idea which would win. The A8 wins most every other circumstance, maybe this one will go to the M7!

I haven't driven a M7. As far as highway speed 60-130 acceleration, Wow, my A8 throws me back in the seat like a beast. Iv'e never driven a car that senses your aggression on the pedal and responds in kind.

The A8 is way faster... uh... no, wait.. the M7 is faster.. uh.. actually the A8 is faster but then it all depends on whos driving, then the M7 could be faster.. unless that same guy drives the A8 then it could win.. uh.. wait...

I guess as long as we don't race other Z's it shouldn't matter if A8 or M7, we'll win!
