2017 Zo6 3LZ
My local dealer has a Artic White 2017 Z06 3LZ with the Kalahari interior and has it marked down to 79,605, would there be any thing that would need to be replaced like tires or a battery since its been sitting so long. Its been inside most of the time Ive been there and only seen it outside once but don't know for how long. Any opinions or suggestions?

At least negotiate in a full paint correction and detailing after you negotiate your best deal. Agree on the price and just before you sign the contract ask for the detailing and a new battery to be installed and be prepared to walk. — unless you get 25 to 30 percent off sticker

Maybe a new battery? That's a really easy fix. Shouldn't need much else. Get the paint corrected on your own if it needs it.

No need to replace battery or tires. Must be that everyone here must have brand new batteries and tires on all the many other types of cars they drive. Of course they don't. If you want brand new then get a 2019 as it rolls off the assembly line. But of course people actually want the 2019 for todays 2017 price.

what is the manufacture date of the car? What part of the country is it in? Then go from there - how much percentage off sticker are they offering?

do research on trade in value , private party and dealer retail on a used 2017 c7z with low mileage with similar options is . Figure out what employee gms pricing is for a 2019 with similarly equipped is. Go to the forum vendor site where dealers advertise past deals and dig through there. You’ll find some past deals offered that we’re great. Use that to make your case. Be polite and nice but tactfully Badger the hell out of the dealer and use every tactic and behave like a most aggressive sales manager / sales person would behave to their buyer. Pick the car apart , as its been sitting out in the weather. For months if not greater then a year. figure out how many days the deAler has had it in inventory - embarrass them with that fact, tell it’s a 2017 and 2019 are out.
the dealer isn’t going to put there best deal out their like a passive sheep and say come and get it.

I just bought a new 2016 with 4 miles on it (march 19th 2018). was on the showroom floor and the car would`t start so dealer installed a new battery on the spot for me. tires were fine driving it home. window sticker was 103,600 and got the car for 79,000. I feel I did ok on the price?

Nice deal especially if you plan on keeping it for several years.

yes I plan on keeping it forever. It`s my first Corvette and I currently own a 1969 z28. I love my Z cars but the `69 has to go now. there is no comparison between the two except they are both Z cars both cars are black too, going to be a sad day when the z28 goes away.

I just purchased a 2017 3lz with Z07. Sticker was $105,200 and got it for $79,900. Black on black. I pick it up Friday. Been in the showroom it's whole dealership life. I am very excited. Deals are out there. You just need to find the right car and the right dealer wiling to go over 20%. I went to a few dealers in Houston that didn't want to give more than 17-18% off for a 2017.
