Dyno Trip Today
Today is the big day: car is off to the tuner to get a little more life programmed into her. As she sits, she's got a Tony Mamo PTB, AFE CAI, and a Borla X-pipe. Additional mods being done today at shop are: Innovators West 9% OD Pulley, Brisk RR10S plugs, Granatelli wires, and a 170 thermostat.

As I understand it, a 2017 M7 should be putting down somewhere in the range of 540 to 550 stock, with the A8 coming in a little lower. If we "give" the mods say 10-15 HP each for the PTB and the CAI, then 582 at the wheels isn't too outlandish.
I screwed up and somehow lost the crank bolt and washer, and had to order a new one from Innovators West (who aren't really "west" as they're in Kansas) and am getting it overnighted to So Cal for installation Monday. Gonna be a looooooong weekend.

I have a M7 16Z, only have a BMS air filter and Mayo TB, put down 589 HP and 611TQ in RI at sea level on a hot summer day last year. Did back to back pulls on a Dynojet.

It had a bump from the new throttle body and intake, so the HP gains are less pronounced than the TQ. I’m guessing it was at about 550 HP off the lot. Probably above 700 HP at the crank now.
Torque profile is MUCH smoother and comes on earlier. Also AFR is dead smooth all the way across. 2 psi more boost as well with new pulley.

Hell it gained HUGE through the low end and midrange....Like 100hp gain.....Up top was good for 40....
You'll feel that midrange gain BIG TIME.

the numbers are more comparable to others.

FYI it only looks like it gained a ton of torque from 3000 rpm to around 5250 rpm because it was spinning the tires on runfile 3 and it wasn't on runfile 7. The large super smooth upside down curve shape or depression is a dead give away of tire spin on a dynojet.
