As stated, MGW specifies the price they must be sold for, so all vendors charge the same as MGW itself. Order direct from MGW to ensure you get the latest version.

Only time I've seen the MGW discounted was for black Friday they did 10% off. Aside from that, it's hard to find a "deal" on one so you might as well order directly from MGW.

I walked my ten-year-old son through the entire install it took him an hour and 15 minutes so it isn't really that hard to install

Sounds more like it. I've done it on other car just not in the Corvette. I guess I don't understand the 2+ hour times. The others pop right out and back in easy as long as you park in neutral.

I thought the same thing haha. Im like no way this is going to take that long. Well i installed it last night and it was a good 2-3 hour job. You have to take the center console apart, the shifter and lower box off, assemble the new lower box, install dynamat, install heat shield material, put it back together. But man is it worth it. I was having some troubles hitting 3rd before and accidentally going into 5th. Now it just slides in like a lubed up college girl.

Great to hear another positive review. I thought the new version came with a new lower box as well?

yes it does but you have to take the stock lower out and switch the rod to the new lower box and bolt it together.
