Our c7 z06’s are not going to age well. I was out jogging on Saturday , and saw a c7z drive by and 20 minutes later a c6z06 drive by.

The c6z looked great , flowing sexy lines and I thought the c7z really looked clunky , big and angular.

I mean...... Its all opinions.... And here's mine-

I feel bad for C6s..... To me the C5 has the flowing sexy lines.... The base C6 looks like an afterthought. The headlights look thrown onto the car with zero design purpose. The widebody models are the only thing that keeps them from being a completely forgettable generation if we are basing this solely on looks. The C7, especially the widebodies, still take my breath away

For now, I don't think there is a better looking car then the C7 Corvette Z06/Z07.
As far as the C8, I can't wait to see it.........

You are in the minority. I get Corvette and non Corvette people complementing my Z all the time.

If that's what the c8 will look like (or even close), then i'm planning on NOT spending anymore money on my C7Z and waiting to upgrade to that.

That is closer to an "exotic looking" than the C7. Although to piggyback off the other thread, still WILL NOT be a supercar. Unless they rename it something else, and go crazy with the engineering and cost 200k or so. But who will pay 200k for a chevy? Unless they brand it a caddy. Then yes it will be a supercar.

Damn this is very exciting to be a car enthusiast. I hope GM AT LEAST puts the A10 in it or a real DCT. Please no A8.

The concept looks like an R8 with Lambo rims. Not bad!

Ever since I lowered my Z, I can't stand to look at another one that still has the factory ride height....

C6Z is still one of the best looking cars on the road ... C7 will look good for many many years to come. So much hype of this C8 with zero fact on look or time frame of release.

There are no bad looking vettes. Some generational owners however have an insatiable need to criticize others rides.

Every time a new body style comes out the previous one looks old instantly. I remember when the C6 came out it made the C5 appear much older, then the same thing happened when the C7 came out.

When I see C6's now I think they look so old and out dated. The C8 is def going to do to the C7 what the C7 did to the C6 etc. No doubt about it. IMO, the C7 is already starting to look a little dated.

C6's now remind me of like ford probes lol.

They "CAN" look good but with lots of cosmetic mods to stay up to date with modern cars. Hell even the new accord has more curves than the C6 lol.

I kinda agree about the C7 already on the start of the decline. But that's more towards stingrays, not so much about the z06/GS/ZR1.

No offense to stingray guys.

This.

I just wish the C8 would be very close to the yellow C8 renderings floating around on the forum. Those renderings look like a Corvette Supercar!!

The same people that paid 500+k for a Ford.

The Ford GT was and always been a "supercar" though.

The corvette was never. So it would be hard to someone to pay 200k or so for a corvette when they know they can get the stingray for 50k lol. Same difference to them.

There's only 1 ford gt though. BUt yeah i do agree it's overpriced but the engineering is out of this world if you watch what went into making it.

IMO the C8 will not be ground breaking at all, there are tons of midengine cars and the looks of it will be hardly any different than other cars.

Just joined the Z Club in December and I don't think there has been a drive where I didn't receive a positive comment.
Full disclosure - I am a weekend warrior.

That is the coolest rendering yet.

IMO, it makes a huge difference in the look of the car. The stock ride height is my only real complaint with the C7 wide body.

And if it sees its shadow will go back in for another 6 weeks?

I've read articles that state it will debut at the Detroit Auto Show which starts Jan 12th according to the naias site.
