This may be my issue on my Z06.

M/T SR fronts, 6 X26.

Hoosier 315/30R18 rears. They are actually 25.5 in. tall.

Try and heat the tires up and it sits there and spits/blubbers away.

It will also drop power on the 1 to 2nd gear change.

1 good run out of 7, 6 are throw always.

I did notice an Active Handling message near the speedo at the end of a run.

It never acted this way with the stock tire set up.

I'm stumped.

The stock ratio of rear tire diameter divided by front tire diameter is 1.03. You have made yours .98. If you are running in any of the Track Modes with PTM available it will more than likely cut in as just coasting down the street with the transmission in neutral and the engine idling the Electronic Brake Control Module thinks the rear tires are spinning to fast. You have to turn off any form of traction control with this setup. Can you drop your front tire diameter down to 25 inches? That would bring your ratio back to 1.02 and probably resolve the issue.

Thanks so much for the reply Bill.

Unfortunately no one makes a shorter 18 in. front skinnie that I'm aware of.

There are a few options for the rears though.

Thanks again.
