Maybe this is the second coming of the Z06 Carbon?

Reminds me of the C6 Z06X....it didn't amount to anything besides being a SEMA show car.

I think the wing definitely improves the looks of the C7's.

They must have had some wings left over...the color scheme reminds of my middle school's " colors". For the 100% track devotees, a good marketing prospective. I would put just a few out to see how they sell. Not the majority's idea of practical for even a corvette.

Since there is no bulging ZR1-type hood on it, I suspect this is an NA.
Possibly the LT1 or some unknown engine.

Also, after examining it closely, IMO this looks like a fully-formed model...notice the Corvette flag logos front and rear are missing (weight savings?).
We should expect an announcement very soon.

They used the car to gauge public interest. That car went to various races, shows, SEMA, videos, etc. It was very much a "concept" that was an indicator of efforts to come.

Might take away from the ZR1 sales plus if it is an A8 not seeing where it fits in. But with the M7 it may sell a few Z06's it couldn't hurt!
Z06 track wing option!

Ford has 7 liter DOHC engine slated for 2019 Raptor, top shelf F-150, other large trucks with the occasional rumor for special Mustang yet to be mentioned. Rumors of Dodge 426 Hemi have surfaced occasionally as well, most likely for trucks as well but it has been mentioned for special edition Challenger. Talk of any large cube DOHC powerplant from GM has strangely been non existent as far as I know. Could the trademarked L88 still be a possibility?

Its fully functional... Which is more than fine by me because it's sure as he'l more effective than the Z06 spoiler.

I wonder how many of the people bitching about the wing have Z06s (or any other model) that are only ever used for low speed Sunday cruising?

Could we see an N/A Z06X....again...GM has my hopes very high...but i'm sure I'll be disappointed. Many insiders swore and claimed information existed that the Z28 Camaro would debut with an N/A engine, and recent spy photos have located a ZL1, without aero and carbon brakes on it...meaning there COULD be a Z28 with an NA engine on the horizon and no one to share it with....unless big wing Z06x needs it!

Chevy performance sells assembled, "production", CNC ported heads, for the LS7 that are "capable of more than 600 hp", hmmm......LT7?

If one goes round a fast, blind, downhill, off camber corner at speed, one might think otherwise also.
