As an HPDE instructor, my car spends a lot of time on a road course & I have never gone into limp mode with my 2018 M7.

How much does it cost to have this installed?
I would like to know the same answers please

Install charges are usually around $200 and the temps increases are minimal. If your system is properly filled you won't have any affect.

I have a 2019 M7 Z-O6. I am concerned about the increase RPM of the super charger increasing the thermal load. I would like to solve the cooling issue prior to increasing the thermal load. Do you offer any solutions to the increased Thermal load? The real issue is the RPM of the supercharger creates more heat than the cooling can handle. The ZR-1 goes with a bigger supercharger so it does not have to turn as fast. Cooling is far less an issue. What advances in cooling does Metco offer. Thanks

I decided to try and address the heat issue as much as possible without breaking the bank before adding boost to the stock blower on my 2016 A8 Z06. My answer was to install a larger intercooler heat exchanger, install a Fasterproms intercooler tank, install a 160 degree thermostat, have the exhaust coated with 2500 degree ceramic coating by Jet Hot. I did not use a larger radiator because of my belief that the thicker radiator core would restrict flow and negate some of the benefit that the larger radiator would provide and I didn't feel I needed this for a car that is primarily a street car. The primary problem as I see it was in increasing the intercooler capacity. If you really want to solve this issue and you can afford it go to LG and use they're cooling upgrade. If it worked for them at the ring in Germany it will handle anything you can throw at the car. Now I am ready to increase the boost pressure.

That's a great way to go with these cars having cooling issues to begin with. Most issues have been linked to air in the line. Since these cars don't have a reservoir they need to be pressure filled and not everyone knows how to do that properly. IMO the most important mod is to have a reservoir on these cars so you can fill it properly (and also add volume to the system) and then add a heat exchanger upgrade.
