Anyone have info on how to get day of the week build?
Dealer, tour group, museum and chat won't give info.
They want you to spend $800.00 for a buyer tour.

You won't know for sure and that info is not readily available. If scheduling could get that granular, customer service would not be able to keep up with enquiries.

Basically, take the Wednesday of your TPW and bake in a +/- four business days and you will be pretty close. If your lucky it will be on the - side.

My TPW was 10/19, car was build on Tuesday of that week.

Does anyone know how long from build date can you pick up from museum? How long do the cars take to build, etc...?

Target production Week.

If things are going well on the assembly line, the car might start down the line the week before the TPW, and if things are going along normal, it could start down the line on any one of the five days during the TPW, and if things are going badly, It could start down the line during the week after the TPW.

Pure luck for you to see your car on the assembly line. If you are doing the $7 public tour, you will not see the entire assembly area thus reducing the chances of seeing your car. You are only out in the plant for around 45 minutes and impossible to walk up to a car to check it's VIN to see if it's your car.

Yeah, they won't let you get anywhere near the cars on the production line during a public tour.

Send Shane an email about any questions you have. He answered promptly when I sent him one. My TPW is also the same week. Be advised that more often than not, the build will flow over into 2 days. You may also run into a Friday/Monday build.

You can send Shane an email @ the NCM Plant and he will gladly answer any questions you have. His email address is at the bottom of the page.

Basically in a nut shell, the build will more than likely take 2 days. That also means you could have a Friday/Monday build. My TPW is also that week... can't wait till she is done.

Doesn't Shane work for the museum.

Another thing. My car was actually built the week before my TPW. So, the actual build date can vary quite a bit.

How did you find out your car was built before the TPW?
