Upper pulley swap to WeaponX 2.3" w/CAI and Tune Feedback
I am thinking about having East Coast Supercharging install a pulley and tune. They have a stage 2 package with 2.3" WeaponX pulley. I already have an AFE CAI installed. They claim 650HP/660TRQ at the wheels. Not bad for $2k! Has anyone gone that route or something similar? Any increase in coolant and oil temps? Noticeable difference when on throttle?

This is a very common build for us, as in literally a couple per week, if you like I can post up dozens of dyno sheets for you or stop on down and take a ride in my 19 with basically the same mods. My car has dipped into the 9's at the drag strip, lifts the stock front tires off the line, and can walk a stock ZR1 on the road course. No temps issues on or off track and I have put 14k miles on it this year.

Thanks for sharing. He quoted me $2k as I already have the AFE installed on my Z.

I have never seen a 2.3 pulley, CAI and tuneZ06 pull a stock ZR1.
650rwp generally wont pull a stock ZR1.

Melting Slicks
Doug, would the same be true with Kooks headers added to that scenario? Pulley work on a 2015 with Halltech and Kooks without fuel issues?

Just a reference for you, there are other ways to get the fueling, some people do not like meth, but it is drastically more expensive once you do a cam swap, pump, injectors, and so on. I personally do not mind meth to a point, keeps the engine clean, IAT's down, you just have to do a little maintenance every few years.

Headers will work too, I just finished a 16 that had a 15% lower, ported blower, TB, CAI, low side, and headers. The ported blower with the 15% makes a little more boost than a 2.30 upper and no port work. That setup was basically maxed out at just under 700. Keep in mind that's dynoing now when the DA is -2500, it would probably make 670-680 in the summertime. From there we added meth injection, which brought all the numbers fuel-wise together with it not even being on very high. That made 780, from there we did some E tuning which brought it 856 but it was just starting to drop below the requested high side numbers, but tolerable.

Correct, just under 700, once it pulled 708, but usually 690 area. I went threw a tank of E85 that day and switched back to 93 for a few laps and at that point I couldn't walk away from him anymore which makes sense numbers wise.
