I believe the following parts are correct for Z06 steel rotor brake pads

Front GM OEM 25940447, ACDelco "Original Equipment" 171-1040

Rear GM OEM 22847818, ACDelco "Original Equipment" 171-1127

I have seem some references to this which I can no longer find. Is it known that they are truly the same brake pads?

I would encourage you to look at the different pads available for our cars. There are many that are far superior to the a/c delco offerings. I run Powerstop rotors and track day pads for autoX and road course and the Z26 just for street use, and they have almost no dust and are very affordable.
