Default $1,000 for California Registrations Renewal on 2016 Z07??

Is this correct? How are each of these specially “license” and “registration” calculated? This is on a 2016 Z07 3lz

Oregon has just went up to 200 for 2 year tag any car. 4 year tag on new cars. Was 277 not sure what it did. No other taxes here!
My 2015 Z06 tags from 2015 are still good and if I sell they go with the car.

Moonbeam (Jerry brown) jacked up registration this year plus other taxes we have to pay. So yes it’s correct.

Sad that nothing ever changes at the ballot boxes. The folks pulling the strings and running the asylum are voted in repeatedly by the people.

Yes the Bay Area and SoCal area out vote us. The working class doesn’t pay attention enough to politics, job, bills, family are their priorities.
The Libs focus on elections and the advantage of the lack of turn out from the conservatives in this state.

They are calculated based on the year and the value of the car. Your car is worth double than mine so you pay double... sucks right?

my 2000 Honda accord tags were 198$ paid last dec... it's not a linear slope everyone is getting fucked.

My 2005 wrangler went up about 50 bucks. I’m close to 2k in registration now for my vehicles per year.

I'm OK paying the increased tax IF IF IF IF the increase is actually used to improve our roads and transportation infrastructure, which I believe the increase is intended to do. The roads in LA are awful. And I REALLY WISH they would stop using concrete because it's so bloody loud and rough compared to the quiet and smooth asphalt. But that's another topic....

Ok, I see where this is going, we will be next...…. NYS was 65.00 for two year sticker this year. If Albany thinks it can get away with it, this blue state will soon follow, I know CT is doing something similar to CA.
