Vararam Intake claims 60 RWHP, any real world results?

This thread was opened more than 6 months ago.
Other manufacturers have provided dyno results, and many forum members have provided dyno results for other manufacturers products.
Not a huge effort to go to a dyno and post results, If results were valid they could open up pre-orders and have a backlog of orders to ship once (IF) they get to production.
7 months later they have no results to post.
SO what did they use to come up with their 60HP gain number?

They came up with it the same way I figured walking was easier after a greasy fart, strictly by feel...

That's NOT the LT-4 unit. That's the LT-1 unit.
The extra opening is required to feed a "STOCK LT-1" let alone an LT-4. This pulls around an extra 300CFM from the hood seams cool high pressure area (We have a video showing it's effectiveness on our website and on the forum)
If you rely on the fender alone you will never reach the full power potential of an LT-1 or an LT-4!
GM opened up the area inside the fender on the ZR-1's !
Part of the gain you will see from the system comes from getting back what you loose on the road or track in real world operation.
Example : Most LT-4's loose 20-30 Rear wheel HP on the road vs the dyno.
The VR system will get all or most of that back for you as well as add to it.
We have tested other aftermarket systems in the TX heat that made power on the dyno yet made zero to very little power improvement beyond OEM stock on the road. What good is that for $500 Plus?
Like We said ,we have not made an "official claim" yet. When we do, it will be the lowest figure we have ever generated from a Stock LT-4 Z-06. We will subtract 5-8hp or so from that figure and give that as the HP Guarantee.
It's the Torque and how quickly It generates its boost numbers that is truly stunning with the system.
"Personally note" :If I had my way , we would make zero claim and just let the members test and post. That alone would get the job done! I know we have to put something out there though. Maybe I can convince them to pull the old Buick Grand National trick and just add 5hp to the highest existing claim, wink, wink !
We have done that before , so we will see.

I contacted Vararam on Feb 10 and got:
"Yes we have it in line for production but we have to run existing production parts first , because we slow down dramatically when we run new products.
It won't be much longer . VR tech"
Can we get an update? Thanks.

I hope Vararam has a way for the air to be inhaled from the hood seam, as they do on other air boxes they have already released.
I am in the process of creating a kit for cooling, and an oil cooler in the drivers side cheek, and this heat from this cooler, or ANY aftermarket cooler added to the cheek, is going to have the car inhaling hotter than ambient air, which is not ideal of course.
Or if anyone can point me toward a product that already solves this problem, thank you.

Hopefully this is true. I'm in the Mile High city and I know just about any CAI would help me out, but been holding out until this one was finished to decide who I go with.

Just pull the plastic cover off here and all intakes pull from the hood seam. Literally that simple. If you want to be creative you can make that square hole much bigger with a dremmel.

I don't think it is for sale yet. Late last year they were working on getting an initial production run. I think the owner is very particular, detail-oriented, so if there were any issues they are probably resolving them before pushing out the product.
Hopefully they will get their product out soon, anxious to try it out!
