Default Stepping into the C7 Z06 family!

I have (and will be selling this weekend) an H/C/I 2006 Z06. I have been looking for a C7 Z06 for a while now and finally was able to find a real beauty. From a forum member I found this (practically new 2016) gem and I have to say that I am in love! Thanks badbirdws6!!

Nice upgrade. Did the same thing myself 6 weeks ago and I still can't wipe the grin off my face every time I get into the Z.

I made a similar swap recently as well. Sold my H/C LS7 C5 Z06 last November and got into a 2015 Z07 in March. I have to say at first while I loved the looks and huge upgrade in refinement/brakes/handling, I did somewhat miss my NA LS7 soundtrack and high RPM powerband. I had a couple of weeks of some second thoughts on my decision to "upgrade"... but, after doing basic mods (xpipe/Mamo TB/BMS filter), a track day and getting a couple thousand miles behind the wheel of my C7 I've really grown to love it. It's just a monster and does everything insanely well.

PS, if you haven't, spend the $350 on the GM Mag Ride update, totally worth it!

Congrads!!!!!!!

Going to pick up a 2017 WGG Z06/Z07 next week as well. Nice job on the sale of the C6. Still have my H/C/I C6 Z06, as I had to jump all over the deal on the 2017 before I put my C6 up for sale.

PS I live in Niles, so i'm sure i'll see you around sometime.

Good to hear.....I am going through those same feelings now. The original owner already had the AFE intake installed (the one I would have chose) along with an NX express billet supercharger lid (taller than the OEM lid). Borla X pipe is in the garage. I will be installing it next week. I have heard good things about the suspension update. I may look into that but I don't track the car so I don't know how much I will benefit from it. I may go with the Mamo TB, but I am concerned that with the intake and the tall SC lid that I may throw a code. Don't want to have to tune the car yet. There is SO MUCH more to learn on this motor than in the LS7. Cooling mods may be in my future too.

Congrats on the 2017! Don't see hardly any C6 Zs around here.

It's really nice to have at least temporary ownership of both beasts at the same time just to park them side by side and stare
