Default Track fun at autobahn full course PDR

Some track day fun from today. 92 deg and sunny with high humidity. with the gm high octane tune and secondary cooler, along with the ps cooler mod, car performed flawlessly, track junkies feel free to chime in on how I can improve, always looking to get better, best lap 2.44 start at 3:17 mark in video...

I'll give you my south pointers because that's where I have the most experience. Turn numbers are based on south. Watching your fastest lap..

-Stay more track right before 3
-You can go faster through 4. It's a fast corner. Trail brake into it to get set up and maintenance throttle to the apex then power out.
-Get closer to the markers in 6. In my head I say "to the 4, the 3, the apex, then look up to the kink." Actually, I hear Mike Newlander (Short-Throw) in my head saying it.
-Power down through the kink in 7. I've gone WOT through there
-Turn 10 is called Patience. Stay full track right for entry to get a good run on the straight. You may have to give up some in 9 to achieve this.
-Turn 11 stay more track left and turn in a little later. If you nail this you can make the 11-12 transition one continuous right-left movement. It straightens out this transition and you'll go through faster, be on the power sooner and be faster on the next straight.

Switch to PTM Sport 1. You don't need to be in Race.

I miss Autobahn south!

Default to the 4, the three..

Jason,

Thanks for the tips! The only part I am confused on is this..

-Get closer to the markers in 6. In my head I say "to the 4, the 3, the apex, then look up to the kink."

Am I looking in the wrong spot, I don't see the 4, the 3, what are you referring to? Is it in the video? Maybe I am looking at the wrong turn,

thanks for the tips, I am def getting better, was never passed in intermediate group but still have a long way to go...

3:46 in your video.

Sorry, I see they have them marked as 2 and 1 now.

What is the "secondary cooler, along with the ps cooler mod"? I'm asking since you didn't seem to have any issues with overheating. Anything else done to the car to aid in cooling?

Update - searched forum for both and found them. Secondary cooler is not an option for me with A8 tranny. Bummer...

only reliable way to keep a8 from overheating in high ambient temps is
1. short shift at 5000 rpm using paddles (really won't hurt times as car has tons of torque)

2. get LG or G speed cooling solutions (cut bumper install extra coolers to let in additional airflow)
