I’ll take the callaway.

Cant watch this guy’s videos, no one wants to see you talk for 11 minutes, let’s see the car. And then he stole Chuck’s ending by showing photos of other vettes. Come awn man, get creative.

You are right the price is not very close but for the guys who just drive on the street they are real close power wise. On the street with the ZR1
your paying a lot for 105 hp. Then your right again the Z06 can add more than the 105hp and more for around 8k.

The premise of the first post was “Does the ZO6 Callaway 757 package yield a better car than the 2019 factory ZR1?”

The problem may simply be related to imprecise phrasing, but if the question is serious and precisely stated, then no, the 757 is not remotely a better car than the new ZR1. The 757 package is a somewhat overpriced but very high quality and dependable horsepower boost package with accompanying door sill, floor mat, and key fob customization.

So, if the real question is alternatively whether the 757 package is a cost effective way to put down nearly the same HP as a ZR1, the answer would still be no, as there are equal or better HP packages available for less money. However, again, the Callaway packages are very high quality HP boost alternatives worth exploring.

But, getting back to the original query whether the Callaway ZO6 757 package might yield an overall superior car to the ZR1, the answer is still, without any question whatsoever, no. Simply asking the question exhibits a fundamental lack of engineering knowledge and likely exhibits little or no experience in real world track performance driving at any advanced or even basic level.

Attacking or attempting to demean folks who address the specific question asked exhibits perhaps less than optimum maturity.

Kind of a crazy question. Nothing stands up to the ZR1 in the current Corvette line no matter what you do to it or who does it.. Can you mod a Z06 to be faster than a ZR1? Yeah, but who really cares? It’s still not gonna be a ZR1.

That would be correct. The ZR1 is fastest Corvette made so far. The Z06 is very fine machine not quite as fast! Lots of choice's what to do. The question should be is the price difference worth it! 100 people have many ,many, different answers. Great thing is you buy the car have different ideas on the use and it is your choice what to do to get the power. The lt4 and Lt5 are nearly the same less the larger blower on the Lt5. No bad choices!

To be totally accurate, the Callaway has a slight HP advantage and a lot more torque throughout the rpm range. For road course, the ZR1...but for a street car that an owner may want to mod and tune, the Callaway will be the choice for some time to come. People waiting to be able to tune a ZR1 are going to be WAITING forever. You are going to be limited to around 750rwhp with a modded/untuned ZR1.
I’ll think I’ll use this thread to perpetuate the rumor of a Callaway ZR1 😎

Forgetting driver mod. A professional driver in a Stingray or Z06 would run laps around me in a ZR1.
The tool is only as good as the one wielding it...

I would hope not! Some prefer the Z06 styling over the ZR1. Remember the ZR1 has the same rear same tranny same engine block and heads. Same DNA. Unless you the use car for it's purpose in life tracking the car, the high wing is too boy racer for the public. You can get the low wing but then it has the low front bill which is impractical for a street car. Also the high muscle car hood and wild front end are too much. They went away from the traditional sports car styling. Sometimes less is more for some peoples taste!

I really have to smile at some of you guys , I own a 2019 Callaway SC 757 and a 2019 zR1 and for anyone to say the ZR1 will run circles around the Callaway haven’t drove it or don’t know how to drive it.
