The aftermarket support from the many Manufactures and venders right here on our own forum is the key.
You can buy your Corvette and have 8 ways from Sunday to make it faster than you want to go!.

So the reasons given are: its cheaper, it has more hp, it has better lap times driven by professionals, and it's a "different animal."
And to title it "always" better than a 911?
I get it, we love the corvette here but to think it's the best thing since Jesus is a bit laughable.

See I kind of agree with that to a point, if they could put my silver Z06 body on my white turbo s it maybe the great car ever made, to me it's the one thing that clearly makes the vette better, it looks like a Hot Wheels car and looks fast, even parked.

I’d add this article to the “Fake News Jealouse” category for sure, now let’s set the record straight....
The 911 Turbo S is better if you are interested in:
-0-60 Performance times
-Style
-Notoriety
-Perceived position in life
The Vette is only for those who are middle-middle upper class and because that is what you can actually afford, Good on you for finding a bargain vehicle for what it does!
Class is sometimes more expensive than actual performance specs, let’s not try to split hairs.
One of my cars is a Z and I find that’s it’s pretty darn good for what it is, no complaints here for this fast grocery getter!!!!

Drifting
On the other hand the C7Z is a better performer in every other category.
A 991 TTS has a 0-60 of 2.5 seconds, Porsche did it right with that car.

Lets not kid ourselves, most would take the keys to a new Turbo 911 over the Z06 if price wasn't part of the equation. Z06 is the bang for buck king however, I doubt there are many/any well optioned 911 Turbo owners thinking they should have gone for the Z06...

Actually I am one that has my Turbo S up for sale or trade plus cash on a Z06 possibly even Grand Sport. I want more of a daily driver. See my add

Edit: saw your add...its' for a 2011. While not ancient, I was referring to comparable model years.
