I'm bored with the looks of Porsche. Every time I see one, I think "that's a cute little car". Well, I didn't want "cute" and I didn't want "little". The shape of the Porsche has been virtually unchanged for over 50 years. The Z06 is a much sexier car. Plus, it holds itself well on the track. Laps times aren't everything, boys.....

I agree that Corvettes will always be better than 911s. However, I have to admit when I take my Macan Turbo in for service, the Porsche shop is clean, organized, racing logos all over the place and there are only nice cars around. When my Vette goes in, it could be on a lift next to a Sonic or Cruz, the shop is not as clean, the waiting area not as nice, the cashier is not as hot - it feels very different. I know it's because of the $400 oil changes and $200 per hour labor rate, but the feeling is very different. Chevy needs to create Vette only sections in the dealership service shops and pimp them out a bit, but stick with the $125 per hour labor rate, lol

I’d add this article to the “Fake News Jealouse” category for sure, now let’s set the record straight....
The 911 Turbo S is better if you are interested in:
-0-60 Performance times
-Style
-Notoriety
-Perceived position in life
The Vette is only for those who are middle-middle upper class and because that is what you can actually afford, Good on you for finding a bargain vehicle for what it does!
Class is sometimes more expensive than actual performance specs, let’s not try to split hairs.
One of my cars is a Z and I find that’s it’s pretty darn good for what it is, no complaints here for this fast grocery getter!!!!

I traded in my '13 991S with power kit for a '17 Z07 and there is absolutely nothing, nada, zero I miss about my Porsche.

I will admit that it about made me cry to pay $10,000 use tax to register my Z06. I simply would never pay $20,000 use tax to buy any car no matter how great. It has nothing to do with what I want or can afford but has everything to do with not wanting to let the government soak me. And any comparable car to the Z is going to require $20,000 to $40,000 in registration use (sales) tax be paid.
