Default Explain the PDR Circle G-Meter Values Please...

Any of you race guys who have aftermarket G meters, to compare to the footage later.... can you explain the PDR Circle G-Meter Values Please...

What is the inner ring's value? What is the outer perimeter ring's value?

Below photo is on pilot super sport tires... How many G are being pulled?

If you take the raw video file before it is run through any sort of editing tool and open it with Cosworth Tool Box you can see the G Levels experienced on each lap. If you look at the corner data you can see the max lateral G experienced in each corner.

You get a lot of data from the PDR but you have to use the Toolbox to see it. You can also use Pi Toolbox to look at other data collected.

Here is some more from the same lap:

Data taken where the video stopped:

No. No way to do that. I don't even know if there is a statement of what that first ring means. Just like when you hit the 1.25 G indicator you really don't know your G number because it can be a lot more than that. Even in Toolbox you don't know the G force at a particular position in a corner it just gives you max Gs although I suspect it is available just ignored in the software. Pi Tool Set lets you graph G force so you can see how it plots through a corner.

i figrued that was the case. I was also hoping that perhaps someone who has a secondary gopro video of ANOTHER g meter, that has a real value read-out, has compared the 2 videos side by side and can say "yes, the first ring is this, and the second ring means this, and when my dot is in your location, it is .9g, yada yada
