Money.

money is the factor.

i don’t make the $250-350,000plus needed to buy a ZR.

Says a lot about the Corvettes that they are being compared against the Porsche GT2.

How disrespectful though to compare a GT2RS to a corvette. Not even in the same league. But it is flattering.

To each their own. I think the ZR1 front end is just ok. Some people think it looks like a catfish. The openings on each side of the ZR1 front end reminds me of a largemouth bass with its mouth wide open. I actually prefer the simpler/less aggressive Z06 nose if choosing between the two.

I agree there and who wants 3689 pounds when the Z06 1lz M7 Z06 is 3450.

LOL yes that's what it looks like!!!

I couldn't picture it until you said it.

Our z06's look very similar to the front of the 4th gen camaro!!! lol

But in all seriousness i know to each their own. But at least the ZR1's widemouth is completely functional. It almost has a german/exotic look to it. Super aggressive.

My experience is that it's a 3s lap delta from a GS to a Z06 at VIR. If you look at the GM videos it's about another 3s to the ZR1.

Lol. The image of the largemouth was the first thing I thought of the first time I saw the ZR1. Like you said the openings are functional, which is great, but I feel like GM could have done a bit better with the front end.

My post may have been misunderstood.

The camaro pic was to point out that our z06's look like that lol. Whereas the ZR1, even though it's more exaggerated, looks more aggressive. And since it's functional, is better.

I really can't wait to see what the C8 looks like.

Please GM! Make it good!!!

And put out a damn dual clutch already!! lol

Your post was fine. I understood the point you made regarding the Camaro & Z06.

Wasnt Randy Probst white knuckling the z06 around the track and complaining how the z06 was at its limits? The zr1 is just corrects the cooling and provides the power to make the add on aero worth while. The frame and engine configuration are just at its limits, and they have been since the z06. That's why everyone was claiming how balanced the grand sport was, the car wasnt overwhelming itself.

Overwhelming can be fun, dont get me wrong
