“...cost too much” is an understatement. Quality VCF is expensive, no matter how you dice it. This is my current hobby. I figure it’s better than throwing money away at a casino, never been described as a clothes/shoe w__re, and quit golfing years ago. Although, I may take up fly fishing, again or buy a boat!
The deciding factor for me was looking at my car from the side and front. The Carbon Flash was jarring to my eyes. In spite of what some Vendors say, “It’s far enough away it doesn’t show”, when I saw those black, rear brake ducts, merely inches from side skirts, Carbon Flash Hood Extractor literally touching VCF Hood Insert, and when my eyes followed roof line from VCF top back to a Carbon Flash Spoiler, I equated it to elementary coloring artwork. How many colors can I use out of my 64-Crayola box? Maybe I have a little too much OCD going on but a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do!
When you start adding parts, I recommend TKO Performance. Their parts match GM factory, perfectly, IF you order GM weave and tint. They are truly manufactured in house by Nowicki Autosports—not resold from Mexico or China. They stand behind quality of their parts. My detailer/installer has been very impressed and told me he has never seen such quality. He hasn’t had to add fasteners, touch up, polish or anything.
