I was told a CAI will bring out some noise, but it won't be as loud as say a kenne bell or something lol.

I installed a BMS air filter hoping to bring some noise but no go.

Im just trying to hear some blower whine. My car is bone stock and that blower is completely silent.

the reason I think your filter didnt help you is cause there is still baffling in your stock intake. I may just get an AFE and pray.

I know. Some people say they heard a noise increase with the BMS but i think they need their hearing checked. Because it's still silent. You'll get some sound with the AFE. But don't expect a hellcat whine lol.

Our engine bays are dead silent no matter what, unless you had a procharger

AFE won't give you the whine you're looking for either. I have the AFE, pullied, etc. and can barely make out the induction noise if getting on it while in stealth mode. Open intake with the sacrifice of pulling in hot air is your best bet outside of a supercharger swap. I had blown V6s in the past (C32 AMG/S4) and those little buggers screamed with just an intake swap. Disappointed that we can't easily get the same...

How many miles on your Z06, I currently have 7k on my bone stock 17 Z06 and my blower whines loudly since after 4k miles and I love It. Loud enough that when cruising with a group. cars infront of me can hear it

Raphlen, not sure who you directed your question at but I'm now over 8K miles on my '17. I think we have different interpretations/expectations of supercharger whine. This is supercharger whine...lol (I'd be happy with a fraction of this)

If you have a 2017 or newer with the taller lid. Remove the lid and then unscrew the sound deadener plate on the ceiling of the lid and remove it.

How do you get to the bolts on the rear of the lid towards the windshield/cowl. I tried using a box wrench but couldn't get in there.

Our blowers don't wine like the previous versions (CTS V2, C6 ZR1), and that is unfortunate.

You won't miss it that much.

The Z is faster. Ask me how i know. I beat a couple of hellcats already.

Although my Z is a manual so the long gears help
