How's the sound system on the Z06?

I would say definitely go with the 3lz package to get the full speaker system, I also enjoy a nice speaker system and would give mine(3lz) a solid 8.5/10. Some people here might think that bcuz your buying a corvette you should scarifies everything else because its a "corvette" but gm did a good job for a 100k car which in Dubai would be like 380k dirhams.

I assume you export cars there, the reason people by american spec cars there is to save some money as they are 5 to $10k cheaper, but its very hard to sell them when used. I know this since I lived there for 10 years

I have owned a 14 Stingray and a 15 Z06, and I am awaiting delivery of my 19 Z06. Each has or will have the top trim Bose system. It's OK.

I have the 10 speaker system and it's really bass heavy even at low volumes. It's as if the rear sub volume is independent of the rest of the system or maybe I'm just missing a control somewhere. With all that said it's still worlds better than the garbage sound system in my 17 GT350.

I'm starting to realize just how lucky I am not to be a picky ba$tard like most of the people on this forum. I didn't have to special order my car, bought one off a forum dealer's inventory, was driving it a week after I decided to buy it. Loved it from first site. I don't whine about every little thing on the car. I just love the thing the way it is. Spent how much on the performance exhaust and I going to listen to the stereo? The music is coming from the exhaust people. Oh by the way, I'm happy with the stereo.

They are, they have like a 30% markup unfortunately and due to that their resale value takes a big hit as the used car market place is full of US import cars so you either lower your price to match them or your car won't sell.
Z06's fortunately are rare here but man the Mustang market is like a fish market here.

Didn't buy anything yet. Not going to import anything. Only buying GCC specs which is made to be used in the hot climate weather like in Dubai and has way better resale value than any import. It is very difficult to sell an imported car here, no one wants anything but GCC Specs (Gulf Specs that is)

The real music in these cars is coming from the tailpipes. The stereo is fine, but I'm no audiophile. I do like fast cars though.

To be honest I listen to iheart radio (top 40 count down from the 80's) using apple car play 90% of the time when I'm in the Z06. Using your phone as your source to get the music isn't the best in the first place, with that said the wife and I enjoy the tunes. The other 10% of the time I'm just listening to the music from the tailpipes.Enjoy your new Z06 when you get it.
