Hello, I have been on the forums for a long time and have owned a C6 Z06 some years ago. I'm now back and looking for a C7 Z06 with Z07 package in 7spd manual. Like many cars during the duration of the model, many times there are some years with in that production line that makes small minor upgrades which makes those years more desirable then some of the earlier years . Is this to be true for the C7-Z06? If so can you please list/post what those differences are thanks in advance.
I have found a 2016 black on black with comp seats and Carbon Ceramics for around 70k but want to make sure that this year has all the features as the others
I was in your shoes a few months ago, after doing my research, car had to be at least a 17' and a 2LZ optioned car. I was good with a Z07 or regular Z06 with either a 7spd or an auto as long as the above criteria was met. Found and test drove my car on June 6th then bought the 2017 on June 9th and have been very happy ever since!

You buy a Corvette for performance. The 1lz offers the most power to weight, the most bang for the buck and the least loss at resale. .
I agree with this and put my $ on it- I traded my ‘17 Gs 3lt A8 with 7,800 miles in for a ‘17 Z 1lz m7 with 624 miles spec’d to track (CCB +PDR). I really missed the Manual and then I’d say that you do get something from the Z even on the streets. Except for the front cameras, I’m not really missing the 3lt features I had (just day 3 mind you).
’17 because of 1. the leftover new deals, 2. the better cooling upgrades already stock (additional cooler. More space above blower, etc.), 3. Not good ‘18 and ‘19 deals in my area yet.
i would have never paid 3500 for pdr camera.... but the car i found already had it since it was a 3lz, but now that i have had the camera, i could not imagine buying another one without it. 3500 is a lot of money for a gopro, but the ability to push a button and record all the stats from the car and hear the interior audio of the passengers perfectly and the exhaust, its just a priceless feature that a person could monetize quickly if they put their mind to it, with youtube channels and such. As for the cooled seats and the red up across the drivers dash, its all worth it.
People get in the car and love being in it, it does not get the traditional corvette insults.

What Mikec7z said. I would get the pdr no matter what. If you track the car it gives you access to a lot of information you'd never get with a gopro.

I think it’s even less to add PDR to a 1lz like $1800 plus tax. I agree It’s a valuable feature for tracking ( and valet garages).
If it were my daily driver I would miss the ventilated seats. As I’m only in there for focused stints, I don’t miss any of the 2lz or 3lz features that much, except for the front cameras, only because I had them and lost them recently.
upgraded brake package makes a noticeable difference to me.

Lets say you have the hot chic in your profile photo in the car with you, and a shelby cobra comes up, and you guys start racing each other, and your girl is talking and having a good time, and you end up chatting with the guy at the next stoplight or at the end of the exit ramp, you and he's conversation is recorded as well as the race. You have a price tag on home videos that bring back great memories, you think this is not going to be one of them?
Lets say your car experiences strange codes, that the dealership refuses to do anything about, guess what... you have them on camera now... when they happen, what you were doing to cause them to happen, you talking about them happening on the audio... dealer can now pair their data log they see to your video to confirm the circumstances.
Maybe your buddy comes into town, and you take him out on the town on friday night, and you are showing him the car records video and audio, and you guys are laughing and having a good time.... you will want these tapes back once you make them. You don't understand, 1 tape might cover the cost of the camera in your mind.... let alone 50 tapes.

And you might be right about the price, the 3500 might have been the jump from 2lz to 3lz, and at that point, get the 3lz... since the 1800 dollar camera is part of the deal.
ill give you another for instance, the hottest girl i have ever seen in my life.. (my tastes, personality, everything on the table)... somehow i managed to take her for a ride.... and that ride ended up becoming many rides and a great friendship/relationship. I have those nights and our talks all on tape. Any one of those tapes is worth the 1800 dollars to me... if someone stole them and ransomed me to get the tape back and i had no backup copy to the tape.... I WOULD pay 1800 to get it back

not sure if u r talking partly to me because I have a hot chic in my profile ... but I got the pdr with my 1lz, plus the CCB brake package... I love it and used it on my GS too...lol I should use it more often based on your hypothetical stories.

yes, always have a memory card in there, 32gb is the biggest that works with it... holds like 600 minutes of film or something.

Other than the cooling upgrades for the 17s-up, I suggest them because all z06s 17-up have hand built engines....vs only the z07 packages pre-17 . Love knowing it was hand assembled and potentially making contact with your builder (which I did). Just my 2 cents .

I’m with u... but people who know xo Gisele (aka Sexy Gisele, Love Gisele) know her from that certain deceased gentleman’s magazine (forget what vid series)... she also moved on to other, ahem ..., interesting performances and has vids (NSFW) not on YouTube but other sites I can’t link here, so her hotness level (Mike might change his mind abt the assets if he looks under the hood so to speak) goes way up for me !...and being involved in spreading Vette gospel especially Z doesn’t hurt either !

i would call what you described at the end, a dumb girl THe girl im talking about is smart enough to sit and think about things, and not jump to conclusions. That level of intelligence is rare it seems. Nor does she care about fighting over the small stuff. She understands time is valuable and stays focused on making life better than it was a moment ago. She can also have a talk about the fed reserve and she is not lost... which is more than I can say about most males on the planet
