looks like over 30k and a bump on carfax quickly push the Z south of 60k and even 55k.
there was a 3LZ/Z07/comp seat vert at a Maserati VA beach store that sat 3 months at $56k
market is looking good.

i think a lot has to do with condition of each particular car, not necessarily if it has 5k, 10, k, or 20k miles. 7500 miles per year is not necessarily a low number, especially for a corvette.

Car is priced pretty low for retail. A 15 ran through auction 4 days ago with 33000 miles and still brought 55k.
I have to think there are some cosmetic or other issues with this car.

Oh well the longer you have it the less it costs you per year. Wasn’t planning on selling soon anyways but mine is mint and I keep it that way!!

in all reality, these cars hold their value pretty well. Put a bad carfax on an expensive Maserati that starts at 150 grand, make it 4 years old, and 30,000 miles, and it will be at about 70-80 grand market value.
It is common for cars to lose this kind of value, especially when bad car fax is involved, this is not a minivan, it is something people are going to take to a track or at least around curves fast... their life is on the line. I did not see the extent to the damage on the carfax report, but if it says FRAME damage, then its a given, people are going to pass on buying this car, vs buy another. There is about 8g knocked off a Z the moment its carfax reads "frame damage"
With that said, if its frame damage, AS LONG as it was the front or back frame/bumper that were hit, those pieces slide out of a larger hallow main frame, and can be replaced to make the car literally perfect again. If it was in a front or rear end impact, i would NOT be scared of the frame being off much. If it was a side impact, then i would not touch the car. Me personally.

There is something off/wrong with that car. Cars.com has 174 2015 Z06s for sale starting ar $55.9K—lots at/over 30K miles. Majority are asking well into the $60s.
I’m sure that’s a dog with a story.

I've been looking for a new GS, but the price of used Z06's are very tempting. I've seen multiple 2016 Z06's in the mid to high 60k, with under 10k miles.
Not sure what to do!

Personally, I wouldn't buy a first year model from GM.

One of the first things I did was to look into the total price of pushing a GS up to Z06 power levels. It was close enough to a wash, that I chose the Z06, with the stouter bottom end, and the factory warranty.

when i found out the stock c7z had a forged motor, it was like someone told me they had found a cure for cancer. I was very thankful for the world in which I lived, on that day. Knowing they will carry the tradition over to the turbo cars of the c8, is why i have no desire to mess with my c7z. Modding a c8 is going to be a dream. Litterally swap turbos and make sure it has enough fuel. For under 10 grand, there will be cars making 1000rwhp.

to the best of my knowledge, this is not a big deal when the proper steps are taken by someone with enough money. You see, with all these crypto mining farms now, they use those to crack encryptions, you just have to pay them. You and I dont pay, but HP tuners does, and then they split the bill across all the software they sell to customers. At least that is my understanding, could be wrong.

Everyone has a slightly different debate with themselves. Mine was whether to buy a Z06 at the end of the generation or wait for the C8. I decided I've waited long enough to get back into a Vette. I also wanted a manual & who knows if a manual will even be available on the C8 (I kind of doubt it). I plan to keep the Z06 even if the C8 turns out great & I buy one at some point in the future.
SledUtah is debating between a new GS or a used Z06. Most people are more than happy with the Stingray/GS hp/tq. amount. I guess it depends on what's more important to him, a new car or a used one with extra oomph & stronger internals. Only he knows the answer to that.
