Car prices here in TX always seem to be more than in other states, whether new or used. That's why I also bought mine from out of state, from GA. The cars I found out here that were the same model year with similar options were at least $5k higher or more & they still weren't as well optioned as the car I bought.

You found one at a great price. How many miles did it have?

I would suspect a major issue, title brand. None have sold below 62250 at a Manheim Auction.

Nothing wrong with that. You also saved yourself a bundle of money. Some people act like a Vette will melt if it gets rained on or will fall to pieces if it's driven more than 5k miles/year but they don't. They're meant to be driven. I hope you're out there enjoying the car as much as the original owner did.

It's just a car. I"ve been in the car game for a while now, and I've never understood people that worry about resale value and crap like that. I've always heard that not driving your car because you're concerned about resale value is like not having sex with your wife so the next guy will enjoy her. So far I'm loving the Z.

Not sure what to do!

I'm sure when the C8's are announced, there will be a flood of low mileage C7's that hit the market.
I had a 2017 Grand Sport, I sold it and I’m picking up a 2015 Z06. It was a toss up between doing heads/cam full ons on the GS or just use that money towards a Z06, I decided for a few reasons that the Z06 was the better route to go. A Grand Sport with 100hp more would be amazing on the track but on the long straights it leaves some to be desired in stock form.

wise choice, you will get more money at resale for the z06 vs a modified grand sport. Plus with the z06 you have a more built motor.

Exactly, resale was one of the main factors. I’d get next to nothing on return of the parts invested. I also had purchased a 1LT and didn’t think I’d mind not having the extra features but I really missed the heated/cooled seats I had in my CTSV and after a couple track days I was really wishing i had the PDR, the Z06 I’m picking up is a 3LZ with comp seats.

plus you’ll have a warranty, GM isn’t dealing any tuned C7’s.

1st thing I would do is go look at auto trader. There are still 166 BRAND NEW 2017 Z06s listed. I would get on the phone with the nearest dealer that has one and try to work out a deal.

They should be willing to go way down from the prices advertised. Dont be bashful with a low offer. They may just take it.

Dealers with these have to be dying at this point Also, look at 2018s. With the right dealer, you may even do better.
