Well it's been 9 days since I started this thread. Im over the loss of the Hellcat because my Z is now built and bayed in the lot at Bowling Green waiting for room on a carrier. Hopefully in a week or so I'll be behind to wheel of this beast.

Funny, last year I owned a hellcat for a few months..very cool car. Looking to purchase a z06...but....if I can find a demon for a reasonable price (when sanity sets in), I may have to give it a try.

Yes, I went that route as well. The cost of Demon membership is what it is but my longest owned car was my new 2007 ZO6 so that's got to say something ,right.?

I did the same thing you did. Sold my hellcat 3 weeks ago picked up a z06/z07 package. Best decided I made. One thing you will noticed is the supercharger is very very silent coming from the hellcat. That is the only downside.

Thats what IllI miss. Did you go from an auto Hellcat to an M 7 Z? I had the auto. It shifted very quick but I heard Corvettes A8 was disappointing so I went with the Manual.

I'm glad you took my advice. Yes the manual was the better option when coming from your hellcat with a better auto.

Now if you want to cement this theory, find someone in your "group" with an A8 Z and ask him/her to let you drive it, or to give you a ride displaying how the auto works, and then using the paddles. You'll be like wtf lol and think to yourself, "robgz06 was right this whole time. He might be annoying but boy was he right about this A8".
