he can't lemon law it for that. 2 attempts now it's in a holding pattern. his best bet is to play nice but firm with GM from here on out. i PM's him with some info and forwarded his info to someone who i hope will force this to be resolved quickly.. it's a shame. it's a beautiful car.

Good luck on getting it resolved a guy should NOT be seeing that on a NEW Z06! They need to swap you another NEW one and take this one to bowling for a wake up call!
I think it is the paint, lack of prep on the edges both my cars have the tight seems and no paint is flaking off them.

I have a meeting with them tomorrow at 10:30 am. I’m still not thrilled to have kerbeck take a 3rd swing at this given how bad of a job they did on the second attempt and now with paint coming off both front fenders on top of the bumper.

I bought a new leftover 2017 Z06 about a month ago and I have similar issues with my paint. I only have chipping in a couple of areas so far and I've been able to fill them on my own to somewhat satisfactory results. The worst is the edge under the Z06 panel or placard (or whatever its called) on the passenger side. Just trying to live with it. My dealer has been informed and will respray upon request. Just not sure I wanna go through that. Car has otherwise been great.

I have learned that you need to have the side vents replaced with updated units or it will only get worse.

Are these new vents available to the public yet? I am taking my Z in two days to a dealer for a couple of paint defects and this is one of them. Would like to know if my dealer would be able to request these updated vents.

you bought the car in Maryland... that changes things... now you need to have 4 failures, not 3. Or 30 days out of service for the same issue, i assume the 30 days is going to be what you hit first. The good news is you still have 2 years from the time of purchase for those 4 failures/30 days. They are one of the easiest state to win in. If they don't fix your car right, they are toast. Get the letter sent in if you have not already.
When you do a lemon, you can take the money, or take a new car... if you take the new car, which i recommend, you take one that is a year or 2 newer, and they keep your existing loan if you have one, and the bank does what is called a "collateral exchange" (bank is more than happy to do this, because if you default on your loan, they repo a newer car with less miles) So your loan does not change, and your payment schedule is the same, and your money paid in is the same, payoff is the same, you just get a brand new car with new tires and brakes and paint that does not peel. And if the paint peels, you get another new car... and another... until GM and their dealerships lean how to paint a car
So, you will win and GM will lose when this is all said and done, if they dont go to town and really do a perfect job sanding and painting the car this next time.

local Dealer handled said that was not the first Vette that had to be repaired.
I would call GM to try and handle problem. Good luck

They are available. They cost $98.00 per side. Part #'s 84472152 drivers side. 84472153 passenger side. I had the issue on my 2018 Z06 built and painted in the new shop in Jan. 2018. Find a body shop that will airbrush your chips. Do not let them paint your whole fender.
